We were really looking forward to our visit here since we read just good about it on both Google and Tripadvisor. We were greeted by a woman who was nice and even though we haven't booked a table they fixed one for us. Our waitress was very kind and informed us about the dishes, she was excellent. We made our order and started getting our food. The food was nothing special, except the tajarin. That was delicious. Three of us ordered 2 dishes and one of us 3 dishes and the one with 3 dishes got to eat alone cause they did not serve the main dishes at the same time to everyone.

Besides that the owner greeted everyone with a hand shake, except us. Everyone else got to test their wine before getting a full glass, we did not.

The great thing about this restaurant...

Easily the best restaurant in La Morra. Home cooked food, sensibly priced, beautiful presentation, incredibly friendly service with genuine recommendations. The views are stunning but even without that the experience would still be wonderful. The owners here actually care about their guests, it's not just a case of churning out food as quickly as possible to seat the next table. The experience you receive for the whole evening is what's important to them. On top of that, the wine list is fabulous, the BTG options are delicious and the 19 year old dog is a pleasure to see strolling around the grounds. For those of you who have them, they're really child friendly too. I'll be going back very soon for...

This place is what makes Italy such a wonderful place. Lovely hospitality. We arrived a bit late but were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms. The view takes your breath away. We had dinner at the restaurant (make sure you make a reservation!) and were so glad we only had to stumble upstairs after this feast…. Highlights were the ravioli, the gnocchi (best we ever had) and the rabbit. Accompanied by amazing wines. The next morning breakfast was much better than normally in Italy. Not only sweet cakes, also gorgeous ham and cheese, great locally produced juices and jams and of course great coffee. Will be back here many times.

Probably one of the most stunning views I’ve ever had from a hotel room. Pictures cannot really capture the beautiful scenery this accommodation is surrounded by. The hotel has only four rooms which give the stay a private atmosphere. Valentina and her husband are doing everything to make you have the best possible experience of La Morra and of the rest of the region - great tips for exploring, drinking and dining. But I have to mention their great Osteria as well, as they serve really really good food in their lovely restaurant, so you should definitely try it. We will come back for sure!
