An altogether unpleasant experience. We were placed at a table sized for a dictator or a knights templar meeting. I had two meters in every direction to my closest dining companion. Maybe they still had their Covid restrictions in place? Waiters had a peculiar mix of arrogance and what seemed like a lack of both experience and interest. The food looked like something that tried hard to be fine-dining but didn’t come close in neither taste or presentation. That layered tower of fish was a very strange experience. We had one dish that actually tasted good, and that was the vitello tonato. We paid four times as much compared to any nearby osteria, where both food, atmosphere and service is better. I’m sorry, but I really can’t think of something I actually enjoyed here. Weird and disappointing place, and I’m very confused by the other reviews...

The waiter brought completely the wrong wine (different grape, completely different vintage). He poured without showing the bottle. When challenged, he said "sorry we have run out of the other" as if we'd just accept any old replacement, despite being in Barolo.... perhaps becuase we are "stupid tourists" like the previous reviewer... The food was also disappointing- the lamb mostly just bone and fat. The knife wasn't sharp enough to eat it. The starter lacked finesse. We were not offered bread, unlike every other table No offer of dessert, coffee at the end of the meal We waited 15 minutes for the bill after asking
So all in all very disappointing, and I would avoid unless they fix...
Read moreWOW! This is definitely one of the best food we had in Piemonte! We walked in for lunch and were almost alone, so thought we messed up. But we went for the full menu and needless to say, we got a lot more than we expected in quality & quantity! The meats were all exceptional - fresh and cooked to perfection, particularly the lamb chops were crispily grilled, succulent and seasoned just right! The raw beef with fried artichoke was a masterpiece! The crew were super nice and the chef made a extra large portion of vanilla gelato just for us (as in 500gr!!). They clearly love their food and they love feeding their clients even more, so you won’t have an ounce of regret coming here! Absolutely...
