Cozzeria .com - Mussels & More — Restaurant in Lazise

First of all we have been to Cozzeria Lazise 4 times now and the three times before everything was good

Yesterday unfortunately we were not happy at all so 2 Stars for that 😕 my wife and I ordered a shared starter which was delicious and arrived in good time. We also ordered 1 kg of mussels each which arrived 1 hour after we had our starter. All the other tables around us already had their main course and finished it despite ordering later than we did. The couple behind us arrived only after we already finished our starter and had wine, starter and main course (mussels) before we received our main course. After almost an hour I asked the waiter what happened and 10 minutes later we had our dish. I guess they forgot us at first, which happens, but they offered no apology or any Espresso or other compensation for it…

On top of that my mussels were not that great. 20% were empty, broken with pieces of shell in the flesh or sandy… very disappointing.

Afterwards nobody asked us if we were happy with our meal, just the bill.

We will probably come back but we expect more and if it happens again it will be...

Visited here with my family food not bad but service very slap dash. No fewer than 4 waiters attended us. We were asked for our order three times when it was obvious that we were still looking at the menu. My wife ordered some wine which they brought correctly but charged the wrong amount, secondly my son ordered a glass of beer which didn't arrive, when reminded they then brought two glasses, thirdly my wife was told that no vegetables, potatoes or salad came with the Sea Bass she asked for, she ordered mixed vegetables 15 minutes after the fish arrived one of the waiters realised that the vegetables had not been brought. Il locale si trova in una vietta interna di lazise,il metodo di prenotazione è molto efficiente e fatto bene(si consiglia di prenotare)ci sono qualche tavolino fuori e all'entrata si viene accolti da una signora molto gentile,all'interno c'è una sala principale con il bancone del bar poi sulla destra un piccolo corridoio che ti porta su un altra sala molto grande,spaziosa e favolosa che dà sulla stradina. La redamento è molto caratteristico e piacevole,anche l'apparecchiatura della tavola fa la sua bella figura. A prendere l'ordine c'è un signore molto cordiale,professionale e tanto simpatico che ti sa indirizzare su cosa prendere visto che di cozze ci sono molti gusti..non vi preoccupate perché a chi non piace le cozze c'è sempre una buona alternativa. Noi abbiamo preso cozze alla carbonara, fritto senza spine mezzo di bianco alla spina frizzante,come dolce semifreddo al pistacchio e un caffè per un tot di 50€ prezzo giustissimo a mio avviso. Ora parliamo dei piatti Se ami le cozze qui c'è n'è sono..in molte varianti che sono assolutamente da provare le porzioni sono giuste e ti viene fornito secchio per i gusci, tovaglietta per evitare di sporcarsi e la salvietta per le mani. Nel complesso il piatto mi ha soddisfatto unica pecca che non tutte le cozze erano calde. Il fritto ben fatto senza una panatura eccessiva,pesce buono con qualche verdurina e non eccessivamente unto. Il dolce magari andava un attimino scongelato perché era ancora duro ma basta aspettare un'po. Ci sono 2 turni per prenotare ovviamente questo vale per i fine settimana,con il primo turno si ha 1 ora e 45 di"tempo" e ci sono molti orari che si possono scegliere,con il secondo turno non ci sono problemi ma presumo che si parli dopo le 21. Si può prenotare tramite il loro sito e si ha la conferma circa dopo mezz'ora con messaggio WhatsApp e sulla propria mail. Nel complesso il locale e il menù mi è piaciuto molto e sicuramente ci torneremo per provare altri piatti.
