For the serious reviewer
Food 5/5
Price 5/5
Service 5/5
Here we go again, I can hear* the eye rolling and chin scratching gestures through the internet but hear me out because this review is worth it. I don’t give a 5/5 for most places, only those who deserve it get it.
The Pizza here is a must try, I could go with a thousand compliments and exaggerations of words but to put it simply here is used fresh local ingredient mostly from specific regions. Bringing at your table that Rainbow taste buds dance feeling you were looking for. Place is pretty nice with a garden at the rear which is currently only available due to covid regulations, that I actually don’t really mind. Pizza, a wide selection of beers from Belgium, German, local Italian under the palms with this summer heat? (cant beat that). The prices in my humble opinion are spot on, premium culinary experience for this price is unbeatable. Service is pretty good too, fast and accurate these youngsters are very polite and help you with suggestions or the daily pizzas beside the permanent ones. To keep it short although I’d like to always go for the longer run but in this case there’s nothing to add. If you are in south Italy and by any chance in Lecce don’t miss out this opportunity to visit this place.(trust me you wont regret it).
Tipp: So far they don’t accept reservations and I have seen the 20 meter long lines, avoid weekend dining here for long waiting time....
Read moreThis pizzeria in Lecce is highly rated and comes highly recommended—and for good reason. It’s incredibly popular, especially on weekends and during the high season, so I suggest visiting on a weekday if you want to avoid the crowds and the queue. The menu is extensive and can be a bit overwhelming at first, so take your time browsing through it. Don’t feel rushed by the staff to order quickly. I started with the paprika chips and the fried stracciatella cone, which gave me plenty of time to decide on my pizza. For my main dish, I chose the "Fresca", a white-base pizza without tomato sauce. It was delicious. If you visit, don’t miss out on the fried cones, they are a must-try! Although it might sound like a lot of food, the pizza dough is so light and airy that it won’t leave you feeling heavy or bloated. This is quite possibly the best Neapolitan-style...

We did make a reservation but were late because of car trouble but just know once you miss your window you will wait for a bit. It was Monday night in October and the place was packed. But our wait wasn't too bad. It is fair, we were late.
But the pizza was worth it. One of the best I've ever had. I've traveled the world, including 9 previous times to Italy, so I've eaten many pizzas, this is one for the memory banks.
Crust is delicious and well made, long rises from what I read and it shows. The crust was perfect combination char and crispness. The ingredients were a good balance between tomato, cheeses and in my case with the PUNTA DI COLTELLO, sausage.
The decor and atmosphere were fun.
Truly glad we came here, despite staying on the other...
