Went here last night, we were seated quite quickly. We sat outdoor on the street, nice atmosphere. Took 25 minutes for them to come and put down place mats and cutlery and another 15 to take our order with a bottle of wine and water. Starters arrived within 3 or 4 minutes but water and wine was another 10. Starters were OK. Our mains arrived pretty quick after starter dishes were removed. This was not so good, the pasta dishes were presented like a child's pasta dinner, nothing at all visually appealing and tbh didn't taste hectic either, i left half behind. The couple next to us ended up finding piece of metal in their dishes. Their mains arrived when their Starter dishes hadn't even been cleared and they had to take the dishes from the table themselves in order for the waiter to place their main dishes down. Not fantastic service IMO. It's a very basic place to eat and I wouldn't recommend. We foolishly sat on a whim because it was getting late. So if you have time I suggest you go...
Read moreThe food was very typical, but in a good way. The ingredients were fresh and we couldnt order lasagne because it was still being prepared, which is not a bad thing. However, the prices are not ok for the place, the quality and definitely not for the amount. There are other restaurants in the center of Lecce that offer a much better cuisine for much less. 9€ for a small plate of antipasti is ridiculous and 8.50 for a 8x8 cm slice of parmigana is terrible. A glass of primitivo shouldnt cost 3 euro. The waitstaff was fine, everything was fine but the prices were astronomical and I wouldnt recommned the...
Read moreI spent almost two hours there during a surprising rain this afternoon having and a lasagne snd a couple of drinks. The atmosphere is very nice. I immediately recognised the warm and cosy feeling of an Irish pub, this time combined with a good local cuisine. The best part of the experience was, however, the service. The waitress (probably the owner or co-owner) was very friendly and in the best mood. She was even singing softly to herself on the nice Italian jazz. It will be the first address to visit my next...
