AlVentuno — Restaurant in Lecce

Al Ventuno is phenomenal!! I stayed in Lecce for a few weeks and found myself returning to AV time and time again. In the morning they are a café with pastries from local bakeries and some of the best espresso in Lecce. In the afternoon a spot to grab a panini. In the evening aperitivo and crazy good cocktails. They are always busy with returning locals and tourists.

Firstly, the owner Tom and his team are so friendly and welcoming…. Talkative, funny and insightful…He makes everyone feel at home. Such a nice guy. He is really succeeded in making AV feel like your neighborhood café. I want AV in my neighborhood when I return home.

Mirko is the mixologist that makes incredible cocktails… very well-balanced and always delicious. Awesome and talented guy.

Another thing that sets AV apart is how clean everything is. In addition to creating a lively atmosphere, Tom and his team clearly care… they are always cleaning and caring for the space. Exceptional.

We had a great evening at Al Ventuno apperitive bar in Lecce, Puglia, Italia. We just stopped to drink an Aperol Spritz. Nothing special but we let us convince to have some snacks served with the drinks. The owner and his staff informed us very kindly and professionally about the food served. They did not disappoint us. On the contrary. The ingredients were of a special quality. We were introduced to many local products. The team also inspired us with the stories around the products. The owner pointed out to us the importance of choosing the right products. His mission is : the products themselves have to tell the story. He completely succeeded in that. So when you pass in Lecce, don't go any further without enjoying all the goodies served...

We love this place when visiting Lecce. Vegetarian options are really well considered and not an after thought.

Great selection of salads and toasted sandwiches at lunchtime and an excellent drinks menu. The evening service, for Aperitivo, is exceptional with really well made cocktails and a varied selection of food all of which is light and healthy and made with care. The evening staff are all lovely people and it is nice to see people enjoy their work and create a relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city even during festival time.
