If you want to be trapped and to pay more than other people because you are a tourist, go ahead !
We are kindly advised to sit at a table, waiters take our command and 15 min later we receive the ice creams we ordered in too large quantities. In the meantime, 6 other groups of people are taking their "take away" command sitting at the tables around us.
At the end, we have to pay more than the others : we are paying for the amazing on-site service (which basically means 15 min delay) and because the quantities ordered haven't been properly respected by waiters (more than what we wanted).
Instead of recognising the errors, the waitress pulls out the payment terminal with a poker face.
Smile ! you've just been tourist-trapped !
Update following the establishment's response:
Thank you for your answer. We accept the price difference between takeout and dine-in orders. However, not everyone follows the rules, and it is the responsibility of the waiters to enforce these rules and prevent customers who ordered takeout from using the tables. It should also be noted that the minimum size of ice cream servings on-site is different from that for take-away, and the servers did not inform us of this difference.
A gesture of goodwill, acknowledging these two issues and offering us a "takeout" rate, would have been enough to prevent this...
Read moreI’ve visited this place multiple times and had generally enjoyed my experience. However, on New Year’s Eve, I was deeply disappointed. My friends and I wanted to explore the underground section, as we saw someone coming out of there. When we approached the counter, the lady immediately stopped us and said they were closing. Respecting this, we left and returned an hour later, only to find the place still open with people continuing to order and enjoy their time.
When we inquired again, she rudely responded, “We are closing now,” even though there were still customers seated and being served. This treatment left us feeling hurt and unwelcome.
It’s heartbreaking that in this day and age, such inequality and prejudice still exist. All we wanted was to spend a pleasant New Year’s Eve with friends, but instead, we were left feeling excluded and disheartened. I sincerely hope that establishments like this reflect on how their actions impact others and work towards creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for everyone. No one should feel treated unfairly based on...
Read moreI do not recommend this café. The staff was rude and unfriendly. We were handed the menu but didn’t even have time to look at it — the waiter stood over us waiting for an order immediately. The ice cream was served in a broken glass (!) — very dangerous, you could easily cut yourself. The matcha latte was completely tasteless.
The waiters don’t care at all about customer satisfaction. They know tourists will come because of the convenient location, so they make no effort to create a pleasant atmosphere — on the contrary, they completely ruined our experience. The waitress even mocked us for what we wanted to order, so I opened Google and showed her a picture of an iced coffee with ice cream, because apparently this woman didn’t even know what that was and claimed it wasn’t possible to get it there. An absolute disaster.
Thank you,...
