Locanda Corto Maltese ‘22 — Restaurant in Lecce

I generally don't like to post bad reviews but at this place I really felt like a fool. So, I had a reservation trough The Fork app which gave me -50% discount and I mention that when came to the restaurant. The waiter said okay, he gave us a table and menus. After few minutes when we were about to order the food (as we ordered drinks at the same second we sit to the table) he came with the phone and google translate, telling me that we can't orded second plates or fish. I asked why and he wrote on the phone - BECAUSE THE SUPPLIER DIDN'T BRING IT 🤣 This would be tottaly okay if the restaurant was not full of people who were already eating and I could see some dishes feom the menu that is not available to us. I suppouse this happend because of the reservation with discount but in that case-don't promote your restaurant there. We have cancelled the drink order ans left...

We visited this restaurant in Lecce and were extremely disappointed with the service and the food. The staff was slow and inattentive — we had to wait an unreasonably long time for our food, and no one seemed to care.

When the food finally arrived, it was completely tasteless and poorly prepared. The salmon was undercooked, almost raw, and when we asked for it to be properly cooked, they brought it back in the exact same condition. It was honestly unacceptable.

Had a quick lunch here during a midday break with a friend, and we were pleasantly surprised. We started with a house appetizer platter—a great way to sample a bit of everything without getting too full. It included sautéed vegetables, mini focaccias, grilled bites, and some cheese—light, varied, and flavorful. For mains, we had lamb with potatoes and meatballs in tomato sauce.
