Corte Ludovico — Restaurant in Lecce

I was looking at several different options, and we decided to just walk down to this place. Glad we did!

What a nice hotel!

It just happens to be off, unbeaten path in Matera.

There’s not a lot around the hotel in the way of shops or restaurants.

But the hotel itself offers at one stop shop with the restaurant. We have a wonderful dinner downstairs with our tour group. An enjoyed an amazing breakfast before we departed for Naples.

Definitely looked over all the different options that they had. To my surprise, several the menu options, or an English, or easily to translate.

There was a nice Canadian couple that came over and chatted with us. It was there 3rd time there. They had nothing but great things to offer.

Our server went above and beyond to try and ensure that we have the best possible experience. Even with the language barrier and our additional request she was able to get exactly what we wanted. I was impressed by how good her English was as that is something that is less common the farther south you go in Italy. She later in the evening and let us know that she’s been to England several times. I wish I would’ve caught her name, but thank you.

If I have to describe this with 1 word it would surely be terrible. I ordered a pizza at about 9pm every few minutes the waiters would be asked what happened they answered 5 minutes everytime i waited untill 11pm and the pizza finally arrived and the waiter just spilled hot olive oil and cheese over my arm i decided to leave and the waiteress starting beeing really rude. I gave it one star because some other people had fish and it was pretty good, going back to the bad experience all I want to say is do NOT go to this Corte...

Ciao a tutti vi racconto la nostra esperienza in questo Ristorante atipico, andando in un grosso centro commerciale di Lecce, ho voluto fermarmi a mangiare proprio in questa città, come già recensito in questo periodo a Gallipoli non è consigliabile andare, al Ristorante e nemmeno al mare, perciò dedichiamo questi minuti per elogiare un ristorante che all'ingresso non gli dai un gran che, ma all'interno si evolve la struttura tipica dei locali di una volta con grandi arcate alte 4 metri, (mia nonna abitava in una struttura simile a Gallipoli), qualità dei piatti molto buona, materia prima e presentazione, abbiamo mangiato riso asparagi e gamberetti, tagliata di manxo grana e rucola, insalatona mare e monti, patate fritte e verdure grigliate, in omaggio un piattino di frittelle, due acque naturali €60 prezzo €1,5 a coperto per sua comodità ci ha fatto un piccolo sconto, premesso si è mangiato bene Ma devo dire organizzazione della cucina pessima, da qui le 3 stelle, il primo piatto è arrivato dopo 40 min dalla comanda solo per un commensale (quando siamo entrati c'erano solo 2 persone), per gli altri due commensali allo scoccare dei 50 min è arrivato il piatto e per il quarto dopo 1 ora (era poi l'insalatona), come ripeto la cosa più scocciante è vedere che nel contempo erano arrivati altri 4 tavoli e venivano serviti, consiglio il ristorante per chi non mangia con gli altri suoi commensali o per chi va da solo se no, lasciate...
