Ristorante Pizzeria Bar Il Galeone di Monte Domenica — Restaurant in Lipari

It was the last night of my holiday and I picked a wonderful location for a relaxing evening meal. I went with the tried and trusted maccheroni alla norma which was marvellous maybe a little too much sauce left over at the end or maybe I could have had more pasta :)

The pasta was perfectly cooked and it made for an amazing main course. They had amazing bread and luckily enough they had butter... I really struggle to enjoy bread without some butter.

I ended up ordering dessert which was a lovely chocolate mousse with ice cream centre. I have to say the staff are super friendly and they are very accommodating for their guests and make sure that everything is perfect.

If you are in Lipari I would strongly recommend eating dinner here for sure. Thanks for an...

Very disappointed, 4 for dinner, 1 left before we ordered. orderd meals and drinks, 2nd bottle of water never arrived. Entree, they took our plates away while we were eating and then wanted to take away the rest of the entree, told him to leave it, but no plates to eat off. my sons chair was knocked every time they went past, very irritating.1 meal had so much oil, almost inedible. Got the bill,charged for 4 covers even though 1 person left before we ordered.and for this elusive water we are still waiting on...... definitely...

Probably the best gluten-free pizza in my life so far. I had the Speck e Zola (pomodoro, mozzarella, speck, gorgonzola).

The pizza was cooked in an aluminum foil pan which was served on the platter. The crust stuck a little to the aluminum pan but it didn't matter. It was a thin crust.

The staff and service were excellent.

I'm not sure what else is celiac friendly. Frankly I'm not sure I would try anything else. Add a little olive oil with spicy...
