Basilico — Restaurant in Livorno

Serata eccellente, ottima pizza e ambiente accogliente..questo avrei sicuramente scritto se la serata fosse almeno iniziata..prenotato per 4 persone nel primo pomeriggio, abbiamo cambiato chiamando e aggiungendo un posto a tavola, tutto okey, confermato. Appena siamo entrati siamo stati accolti subito con una certa indifferenza e aria snob, con tanto di stupore da parte del gestore che sosteneva con forza l'eventuale possibilità che non avessimo chiamato per cambiare la prenotazione. Invitati ad aspettare 2 minuti abbiamo aspettato 20-25 minuti ad un tavolo che stavano preparando per altri clienti, nella totale indifferenza ci siamo recati alla porta per uscire e siamo usciti. Il gestore al momento in cui abbiamo fatto notare la cosa è rimasto in silenzio e il cameriere scusandosi e dispiacendosi per l'accaduto ci ha salutato e ci ha fatto uscire senza darci nemmeno la possibilità di trovare un'altra sistemazione. We had a great time at Basilico with my family. The food and service were both excellent. We were in the mood for some great pizza and that's exactly what we got. Everyone in our party was happy with their order. I highly recommend Basilico and I'll be back next time...
