We were seated quickly despite not having a reservation on a busy night. Our starters and kids mains came out together in good time. One of the fried squids was full of sand and was very unpleasant, and the dish needed salt. But the seabass was excellent. Sadly, our main courses never arrived, which we were disappointed about, but we had waited over an hour with repeated promises of it being nearly ready. They agreed to only charge us for what we had and we left to eat at home instead. I asked for a small fish as I was having a pasta starter.. when the fish came on the bill it was 55euros. This was the most expensive dish of my 30 meals during my vacation. I only ate half the fish as I wanted to try the authentic Sardinia desert. I take some blame but there was definitely an opportunist approach to take advantage of a tourist. However, when other people approached without a reservation, who seemed to be friends with the waitress, they were immediately seated, which made us wait even longer. The pizza was very average, the pizza dough so hard you could break your teeth. Only one waiter understands English, and the rest of the staff speaks only Italian.
