Zero Stars for Terrible Service and Racism

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The bald server we encountered was incredibly rude and exhibited racist behavior. As tourists, my wife and I were treated poorly—if you're not a local, don't expect to be welcomed or given any decent service. The staff seemed more interested in ignoring us than offering any kind of hospitality.

As a business that relies on tourism, the owners should seriously consider training their staff on basic customer service. Tourists are the ones who keep this place afloat, yet we were treated like we were a burden. Instead of acting with disdain, perhaps they should show some respect to the people who control their livelihoods.

We will never return and would advise others to avoid this establishment unless things change. Food is overpriced and over salted, sadly it was the only place open during Christmas and new years so we had no other option than McDonald’s. Which quietly frankly tasted better than...

Assolutamente da provare a Santa Teresa. This pizzeria restaurant is fantastic. We chose it as it looked nice from the outside thinking to order a pizza but after having a look at the menu we realized they had a fantastic restaurant menu too. The lovely waiter suggested us a couple of dishes on the menu and it turned up to be the best decision we could have made. We had a seafood and vegetable fried platter which was perfectly cooked, crispy and tender at the same time. It was huge but we still managed to eat pasta after and so glad we did as it was fantastic. Tagliatelle with courgette cream and stracciatella burrata with shrimps was delicious. The pasta was definitely fresh and home made. At the end we were offered mirto and licorice liquors. We were so impressed by the place that we came back the day after for a quick lunch: we had two lovey salads! Prices are good and all staff are very nice and polite. We checked online to see if we needed to have a reservation, but we could not find any website. We get there and the waiter asked if we had a reservation and we said no so he told us to sit outside (in sort of a negative way). We were still trying to figure out what we wanted when he came to take our order. We ordered our drinks and I said I needed just a minute to decide on the meal. He stood right at my shoulder staring at me until I decided something on the spot. 30 seconds later, I realized I had mistakenly ordered a "white" pizza (no tomato sauce) which I did not want, so I asked to change it. He said he had already put in the order, too late. My wife ate it since she doesn't mind white pizzas so bad and gave me hers. The food ended up being good but the whole time we felt like we were treated as 2nd class customers, just rushing us through to get the table filled by someone else.
