Bar Caffè Conti — Restaurant in Lungòni/Santa Teresa Gallura

We had the misfortune of going to Bar Caffe Conti for breakfast as it was part of our B&B package. It was very slow service particularly towards non-locals/non-Italians or possibly because we were part of a B&B package. We only got served after attracting the attention of the waiting staff at least 3 times otherwise we were completely ignored. To add another insult, today we were told that they didn’t have any croissants when all the surrounding tables were being served with croissants. We were offered one of their cakes instead which are not great quality and which we left most of. Not recommended...

We cannot even rate the food or drinks, because the waiter showed no interest in serving us (no, there weren't to much other guests). We had to wait on a table with old food from previous guests for ca. 15 minutes. The waiter was chatting with some other guests for 5-10 minutes. After we asked another waiter to order and to bring the old stuff back, he mentioned the other waiter is in charge of that. A few other customers had the same experience. Absolut disaster. We went there to have a "Typical Italian Breakfast". I got a "Salami Paninni" with a dry Supermarket bread, cold and with a really cheap quality sliced Salami. I ordered toast bread with butter for my daughter and they gave me sliced bread with butter (not toasted), my wife ordered a "Paninni with Cheese" and a Coffee, her bread was also cold and the cheese was also supermarket Gouda cheese. What a dissapointment! we left almost all the food in the plate....
