Acquachiara Cafe e Food — Restaurant in Maiori

I went in to have a coffee, I walked in and salute the staff and asked what kind of coffee they do (you see i like americano) and the response without hello or anything was one kind of coffee ,but with a very rude manner and high nervous voice tone. I asked if its only espresso coffee than, the answer followed esspresso, machiato, americano, cappuccino. So in the end it wasn't one style of coffee. Super rudlely asked if we wanted any and i answered yes an americano and my partner espresso, they brought the coffee and mine was double expreso runned through single espresso button, no hot water, weak, dirty water. I couldn't even ask for hot water to top it up or remake it , cause of the previous attitude of the staff behind the bar , so i left and let my partner to pay. Went to next cafeteria on the corner and had great coffee...

Worse place we’ve ever stopped at in the world, fine with locals smiling and talking but with us short answers and unfriendly and unwelcoming. TOURISTS BEWARE - He told us to park in a nearby bay, but 1 minute later the traffic officer turned up, he singled car out but I ran and moved it before he could ticket us. We hadn’t seen a traffic warden in Italy for 3 weeks before then, thinking maybe the restaurant owner called them to msskr money jointly! AVOID, AVOID. Food also tastes rubbish...

Sconsiglio vivamente questo locale per i seguenti motivi: abbiamo chiamato per sapere se avevano a disposizione pizzette o panini, o comunque qualcosa da mangiare. Il proprietario ci ha detto che saremmo potuti andare tranquillamente. Gli avevamo fatto presente che a questo punto l'avremmo raggiunto dopo circa mezz'ora. All'arrivo gli diciamo che ci eravamo sentiti poco prima e che avevamo deciso di appunto di venire da lui. Con non curanza ci dice che se volevamo mangiare qualcosa dovevamo aspettare come minimo 20 minuti perché non c'era nulla di pronto. A quel punto gli facciamo presente che avendo con noi nostra figlia autistica, se l'avessimo saputo e se ci avesse informato, non ci saremmo andati. Ma in modo poco cortese, ci ha risposto "se volete mangiare qui dovete aspettare!" Che ci voleva dire fin dall'inizio che non c'erano panini, pizzette o altri prodotti pronti sul banco? Ci saremmo evitati volentieri arrivare da lui, decidendo per altri posti. La cosa che ci ha colpito e mortificato è stata la sua totale indifferenza di fronte al fatto che comunque avevamo con noi nostra figlia che è una bambina autistica, alla quale avevamo garantito di poter mangiare qualcosa. Un consiglio al gestore: di essere più corretto nelle informazioni che si danno, di non pensare a fare solo cassa a discapito dei poveri avventori. Ma come prima cosa, di sapersi comportare con più sensibilità e rispetto riguardo alle persone con disabilità e portatrici...
