Pizzeria Vesuvio — Restaurant in Maiori

The best pizza restaurant I've ever been to. The cheeses and sauce taste amazing, and the dough is delicious. A bit thin for my liking, but delicious nonetheless.

The service was quick, two pizzas in around 25 minutes after ordering. Not the fastest pizza I've gotten, but definitely not the slowest.

The atmosphere was nice. It felt great sitting in the pizzeria overlooking a busy road, a true Italian atmosphere.

Good pizza but not the best, the toppings lacked in brightness and the dough was a bit hard to eat on the border, probably a bit too dense (I understand and love Neapolitan pizza but it can be much more airy and pleasant on the borders). Pizzeria Vesuvio is conveniently located near the main strip, making it easy to find. We had a family dinner there, and the service was excellent, as was the food. Their pizzas were absolutely delicious! The only downside was an unexpected 10 euro charge for dining in, which would have been helpful to know about upfront.
