King's Bar — Restaurant in Maiori

We just walked pass and I saw many locals so I just wanna try. First, the price was very reasonable and the food were good. I saw some comment saying their pasta is the best they ever had in Italy. I don’t believe it . But I ordered seafood pasta. It was good. Better than the pasta I had in more expensive restaurants. So if you are looking for something local, try it. A lovely find on our three day trip to Maiori. Family owned and clearly a bar/restaurant that is frequented by the true locals. The prices are realistic and extremely fair, we had the cured meat platter and aubergine parmigiana followed by spaghetti ragu and carbonara. Our starters were very tasty, excellent cold meats and the parmigiana was absolutely delicious. Our main courses were of equal quality and we will definitely return. Had the misfortune of eating here tonight.Absolutely the worst food we have ever had in our many years of visiting Italy. Ravioli floating in greasy oil with terrible smelly cheese and some kind of sour fish filling.. My wife's pasta was overcooked, also drowned in oil with terrible cheese. Just drank our beer and waited patiently for 15 min before someone finally brought the bill. Dont be misled by the reviews, locals come here for the cheap beer and panini, rest of menu is disgusting.
