I find some of the negative reviews oddly biased. I have traveled all over Italy and the Amalfi coast and this is some of the BEST pizza I have eaten in this area. The pizza was superb, properly prepared and tasty. Let's start with the local, which is off the main drag and nicely set. There is outdoor and indoor seating. It is pleasant but not crazy nice. The staff, of which 3 served or waited on us, we all friendly, attentive and rather quick given the amount of guests present. They offer some free starters as a welcoming! All were superb! The house wine is reasonably priced and superior to many bottles I have had on the coast. We ordered a 1/2 meter pizza which was PERFECT in every way. The prices, VERY fair. 5 of us ate for around 12 euros a piece and portions are generous. This is the real deal for the area. You won't be...
Prendiamo 5 paccheri e 4 ravioli... Arrivano tutti i piatti tranne uno.
ENG The service among the worst ever seen. We arrived and they give us the menu. After choosing the dishes, after about 15 minutes, the waitress arrives and tells us that the dishes must be the same (so why do you give us the menu?). We had 5 paccheri and 4 ravioli ... All dishes arrive except one. Besides forgetting the dish, the waitress comes back after 10 minutes and says there are no tomatoes. And it's ok ... Then they had to arrive three portions of mixed frying, 20 euros per ration (shrimp, squid and paranza). It came a single dish with maybe three servings of fried potatoes with 5/6 pieces of calamari. We point out to the waitress that it was not what we asked for. She tells us that the paranza is not in season (perfect, but don't put it on the menu then), obviously we have waited long enough and we tell her that it's okay and that we agree with the bill. Despite everything, they had the courage to present us with a 220 euro bill including 3 portions of fried potatoes at 45 euro. I had to argue with the waitress to let her know how ripped off we felt (although I doubt she got the message). Obviously it will be a place for tourists but at least try not to fool the Italians because then it is obvious that reviews like this will...
Read moreThe food was good, there is a lot of options for vegetarian as well, as we don’t eat meat.. but the service was bad. The waitress were not really nice, while my boyfriend finished eating, and I was finishing my food, 2 times different waitresses were trying to take my plate - while the food is still in my mouth! Chewing! And I ordered one dish and then charged me for another.. in general we were...
