Cafe Gelateria Andreis — Restaurant in Malcesine

Nice cafe on the side of the lake with views of the mountains. We ordered a tea and coffee and the staff let us sit for hours there enjoying the view. There is good shade if you want to shelter from the sun as all their tables are covered with umbrellas. Their menu is quite extensive but we didn’t try everything. Unfortunately the waiter brought out our drinks without milk and then when we asked he forgot - it took fifteen mins for the milk to eventually come once we reminded him. The toilets are also quite scary as there’s a metal grill on the floor which is alarming and...

Not the best gelato we've had but one of the only places we could visit before our boat was set to leave. Even though there were only two people ahead of us, it took the young lady forever to get us our ice cream. She was constantly being asked by the other waiters to serve gelato platters for other guests so the wait was very long.

The gelato itself was decent as I mentioned above. It was nice to cool off but some flavors didn't taste as authentic as they should. The grapefruit had a nice sour tinge to it though which...

IMBARAZZANTE E PENOSO!!! Ieri 13 agosto 2023 ci siamo fermati per un gelato, e dopo la consumazione ci siamo recati al banco per pagare; ci hanno risposto che avremmo dovuto pagare al cameriere che ci ha servito. Lui si presenta con lo scontrino e ci dice di andare in cassa. Così facciamo e paghiamo ben 27 euro di tre gelati (tra cui anche la panna che non abbiamo preso era inclusa). Dopo aver pagato ci siamo alzati e siamo andati via, il cameriere ci urla di tornare indietro di pagare davanti a tutti (non che da dire che siamo passate per zingare!!). Gli diciamo che abbiamo pagato e lui a squarciagola dice di tornare indietro che dobbiamo pagare. Non c’è da dire quanto furiosi eravamo dopo la figura imbarazzante davanti a tutta la piazza che ci hanno fatto fare. Siamo tornati indietro e gli abbiamo mostrato lo scontrino (che a molte persone non hanno nemmeno fatto se dobbiamo essere onesti) e una volta fatto vedere lo scontrino non si sono nemmeno scusati!!! PENOSO, per non parlare di clienti seduti per 20 minuti che non serviti si sono alzati e sono andati al bar affianco. I camerieri si sono poi messi a dire che pensavano non avessimo pagato, ma uno scusa non si è sentito da nessuno. Il gelato è davvero di poca qualità, piccolo per un prezzo così elevato. Questo lo pubblicherò ovunque!!! Voi la figura di quelle che rubavano a noi l’avete fatta fare davanti una piazza intera, ora lo sputtanamento lo faccio io davanti al mondo intero....
