Don't fall into the tourist trap because of this nice location in a beautiful square, situated under stunning fruit trees!

During a 2 week trip around Europe for our honeymoon and enjoying lots of 5 star eateries, Re Lear was the only bad meal we had!

I asked the waiter if he recommended the Carbonara or the lasagne, he replied by saying he didn't know, but lots of people were ordering the Carbonara. An odd answer but I opted for the Carbonara.

Unfortunately this wasn't made in a traditional Italian style, it was extremely eggy and was bright yellow/orange in colour. It was far too eggy to eat it all and was that eggy that it started to set!

I ate half of it and let the waiter know it was eggy, he replied with 'why didn't you say', but as I ate half of it I felt it only fair to pay for the meal, dispite no one coming to actually ask us if everything was OK and the rude waiter!

The 2 stars are mainly for my husbands pizza, which he enjoyed.

There are plenty of other fabulous Italian restaurants in the town, booking ahead is recommended to enjoy traditional Italian food as...

Re Lear and All Albero from what I saw are two restaurants but sharing outside space and maybe kitchen? We sat inside Re Lear but went paid to the other one.. so I guess they just put them together but names are different. Otherwise we made our order, drinks and food together and the first pizza came 5 minutes after ordering!! I was shocked how quickly it was ready. The pizza was nice, warm so I wasn’t that suspicious about the time. But then we had carbonara which for me were very good, creamy but for my mom very egg yolky. They were also kinda cold when they brought them - so not kinda sure how fresh they were. I had lasagna, also very nice but the edges were completely black and I couldn’t cut it. So I only ate the middle.. I would give like 3 and a half star ⭐️ to this restaurant. It was good, maybe take more time for the food to get done properly and I would be happy to...

Perfect restaurant! I contact Le Rear through facebook and booked a table for the evening as I planned to propose to my girlfriend. Luckily she said yes and Le Rear provided the perfect restaurant to celebrate. We opted for the "local menu" which provides a selection of 5 courses with ingredients of every course sourced from the local area. We also opted to combine each course with a wine meant to compliment the course. Each wine was also locally sourced! The food, wine and service was perfect! The waiter explained each course thoroughly. At the end of the meal the chef came around each table and made sure all were happy! We had nothing but compliments!! A truly...
