Il Baracchio — Restaurant in Manfredonia

I literally just finished the most incredible lunch at Il Baracchio. I originally wanted to go to a Michelin star rated restaurant in the city, but I was disappointed to realize that they closed earlier. My disappointment only lasted until I received my seafood appetizer at Il Baracchio. It was a combination of a handful of different things — each and every one of them delicious! The seafood pasta I ordered afterwards was incredible! Perfectly al dente, light, but very flavorful. The glass of rosé, the waiter suggested I pair it with was perfection. This was the best meal. I had so far during my three weeks in Puglia. I could not recommend this restaurant more highly! Their food...

Il Baracchio è stato una piacevole sorpresa. Arrivati a Manfredonia per un passaggio veloce ci siamo affidati alle recensioni già positive del locale e non siamo rimasti delusi. Domenica a pranzo di inizio maggio, locale per nulla affollato e tavolo per tre persone trovato senza problemi. All' ingresso spicca subito la cucina a vista che è sempre un bel biglietto da visita e un piccolo bancone bar per svolgere le operazioni di cassa. L'ambiente ti mette subito a tuo agio, il clima è disteso e sereno. Il locale ha uno stile classico ma curato e ben tenuto, mai troppo eccessivo, mai troppo scarno. Ci siamo seduti alla prima, ma credo il locale si sviluppi anche in altre stanze. Ordinati antipasti e primi di pesce. Porzioni corrette, materia prima ottima e cucina che esalta i sapori senza stravolgerli. Vino della casa bianco e fermo che accompagna bene. Il servizio è stato corretto, puntuale, attento e formale al punto giusto, tanto che il titolare ci ha raccontato, tra le altre cose, le sue passate esperienze lavorative in giro per l'Italia. Il conto è ottimo, una media di 27 euro a testa quindi rapporto qualità/prezzo ineccepibile. Sempre molto contento quando si passano momenti di benessere a tavola. Spero sia stato di aiuto nella scelta dei prossimi futuri avventori del locale che si merita ogni fiducia...

Great little place. We had pasta Nero Di seppia for lunch which was excellent. Service was great and friendly. We made reservation a couple days before. It was not too busy on Sunday but if u in a group it's saver to get a reservation. House white wine was excellent . Limited beer selection / for us there was only one bottle left ...worked all out ...overall is a great find and I would recommend it to...
