It has been a while since I've posted a review but this place 100% deserves 5 stars. We were staying at a holiday home nearby and were recommended this place by our host... we were wondering around and wanted to take a sneak peak around 1.5 hours before they open and were greeted by Luigi who was gardening. He was so warm and welcoming, offered my husband and I a drink even though the restaurant doesn't open until later. We spent a lovely time speaking with Luigi and it was a real pleasure to meet him and his family and listening to the background of the restaurant. The food topped it off too and deserves more than 5 stars! There are options to cater for allergies/dietary requirements) The views, homemade wine & olive oil was just priceless and an experience we will never forget! Our 5th time visiting Italy and the best restaurant in this country for sure 🤩 We cannot wait to come back!! Thank you...
Read moreWe visited this delightful restaurant last Wednesday (6th) after being picked up by Tony one of the owners, from outside our hotel which we thought was a fantastic gesture. The setting was beautiful and the food didnt disappoint either. We were informed their produce was home grown and home cooked which reflected in its unforgettable taste. Thats after were given complementary entrees and so much lovely fresh bread.. The service was first class and when finished, Tony drove us back when we were ready. I told him to look out for our review and hope he remembers us. Go there people as you will not be not be disappointed. One of the best family run Italian restaurants...
Read moreI dont understand the high reviews for this restaurant. Maybe the family who owns it was on holidays or the people rating it havent actually tried good Italian food. We got a bruschetta that was uneatable. The bread was chewy and hard (so old) and the tomatoes tasted quite bad. We didnt eat it. We ordered a chark plate which tasted like packaged snacks from a supermarket (outside of Italy). My husband ordered a pasta which tasted like mac & cheese. My fish was ok, my son's pasta was ok, and the aubergine parmigiana was ok. The restaurant has a nice terrance with a beautiful garden, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by sick stray cats running around...
