HANDS DOWN, we enjoyed this restaurant! We have had a few meals in town, spent time on the beach and ate at several restaurants. Such a beautiful place! Our last night we chose Mary's!! Mary's is family owned and run. Such a pleasure to meet and interact with them! We showed up before they were open and the son of the owner let us know their hours and said he looked forward to seeing us in a bit. When we arrived at the correct time, we were quickly greeted with a genuine smile and "so glad you came back to join us tonight." He remembered us and we were treated like we were appreciated, like family. They brought us delicious bread in a basket, twice, and breadsticks in this cool sculpture that mimicked the mountain range down the beach. They explained what it was and the focaccia bread that came with the sculpture was instantly gone between the four of us. We ordered drinks, Peroni beer and vodka with lime, along with several bottles of still water. We had questions on the menu and everything was answered completely. It was so nice to have staff that treat you like you are not a nuisance. Everyone that works at this restaurant is very kind, they have amazing energy, they love what they do, and they're proud of the beautiful and delicious food that they make! We had homemade spaghetti with clams and cherry tomatoes, homemade pasta with seafood, shrimps and squids and gnocchi with tomato sauce. DElish!! For desert we had homemade lava cake with vanilla ice cream and tiramisu. Homemade by Mary!! She explained her extensive menu of desserts- yummy! Imma, the lady of the three twins is directing the restaurant, her ability to keep every team member of the restaurant is crucial in the busiest summer days.She is very kind and always willing to help the customers.
Domenico the other male twin is a super funny guy he takes care of the bar and helps as waiter. He is also a sommelier with a wide knowledge of the best wines to pair with the food chosen. He is very friendly, definitely if you have a chat with him will be difficult to stop. :-)
Maria, the mother of these amazing three, she is leading the restaurant and she is taking care of the orders she speaks an outstanding Italian and a very good English. Her attitude will make you feel home in an amazing outdoor location by the sea.
Nicolas the father of the twins is in the backstage direction of the restaurant, really nice person his goal is to satisfy properly every customer at Mary’s beach.
I highly recommend this place it’s a must in Nerano beach.

Read moreWe met the mum who runs the place together with her triplets. There was a jovial air all around, the interior brings you to a happy place by the sea, which was fitting since it was literally on a beautiful beach.
All the seafood dishes we had for starters were delicious and fresh, and plated interestingly. They were famous for the Spaghetti alla Nerano, this zucchini based sauce was delicious. We spoke to the chef (one of the triplets) about the sea urchin pasta. He brought so much passion and excitement into the discussion that we absolutely had to try it. And it lived up to expectations! Then it was time for dessert, I had the pavlova: exquisite.
Special mention to the sauces that they concocted that add a twist to the dishes, particularly to the cloud of lemon juice served with the sea urchin pasta. Most innovative way to add lemon juice I’ve seen to date!
