I had a nice time with a bunch of friends from a film crew at Ristorante Del Ponte Decembrio. This place has such a chill, local vibe that makes you feel like you’re discovering something. One heads-up—there aren’t any English menus, but it wasn’t a problem I just pulled up a translate app, it actually made the whole experience feel more authentic, so I didn’t mind.
The crowd was a nice mix of couples and families, it felt very inclusive.
The pizza here is definitely one of the highlights. It's Italy so no big surprise. The crust was perfect, crispy but not crunchy, and the toppings were fresh and flavourful—exactly what you want in an Italian pizza. The pasta I heard was just as good—traditional sauces that brought everything together. Honestly, they do the classics really well. The seafood dishes were a bit on the smaller side than I expected, but the flavors were spot on. Everything was fresh, and it tasted like it was straight from the market. Even though the portions were small the taste was big.
But what really made the experience special was the garden out back. I'm a director/DP so light is important to me. It’s a gorgeous, peaceful spot where you can sit and enjoy your meal surrounded by greenery. It really adds a nice touch, especially when the weather’s nice. Perfect for a relaxed, leisurely meal.
The staff were very attentive, but not too much, and considering we were a large film crew it didn't seem to put...
Read moreThis is a great spot to enjoy some delicious Indian food. The chicken was juicy, and the sauce was rich, intense, and full of flavor. We tried two different chicken dishes—both were excellent. I recommend ordering rice and bread on the side to complete the meal. The portions would make you full after adding the bread and rice, so sharing the sides is a good idea if you don’t want it to be too much. You can always order more.
For dessert, we had the mango option, which was light and refreshing—perfect after a flavorful dinner.
Only down side, prices are high but was happy at the end. I wish i didn’t have to pay for at...
