Flower Burger — Restaurant in Milan

My friends and I went to the Flower Burger restaurant in Corso Garibaldi. I wanted to try it after finding out about it on the Happy Cow app. The restaurant is something in between a casual take-away and a sit-in place, with a really cool psychedelic decor and fun vibe. There were seats both inside and outside.

The guy who served us (possibly the manager) was super friendly and helpful, explained how everything works and recommended the new Parmigiana Burger, which turned out to be a great choice, coupled with the patate savoury (kind of like spicy wedges). Sauces were available so I had the vegan mayo.

You can get a ‘menu’ for a set price which includes a side and a drink, and for a few Euros extra you can upgrade your drink to either a beer, prosecco or Aperol Spritz. These drinks all come in a bottle but the manager asked us if we wanted paper cups and ice, which was a nice touch.

We finished off with a dessert, I had the ‘Biscomisu’ which was not only really nice, but was also bigger than I expected.

Fantastic fully vegan restaurant in Milan. Very instagrammable. Lots of choice such as wraps, burgers and bowls. Many vegan desserts on the menu. Did not try the chocolate salami but was intrigued by it. Opted for the tiramisu as you don't find many vegan tiramisus in Italy. Ate here once in the evening. I'd say it is more of a day place in my opinion or somewhere to eat quickly in the evening. It was very hot to sit inside however we did visit in the height of the heat wave (Aug 2024) so opted for an outdoors table. Burgers were very tasty as well as the loaded wedges. Seemed busy with delivery orders. Refillable, unlimited water comes as standard and free with a menu / meal choice. I panini e le patatine erano molto buone e sono contenta che più iniziative vegane stiano prendendo piede. PECCATO per la cameriera del turno di martedì sera, turno delle 20, la ragazza con i capelli lunghi scuri e lisci, che è stata a dir poco maleducata a partire dall’inizio della cena. Si è posta in modo aggressivo nei confronti di me e di mia madre, solo perché c’era stato un fraintendimento su una bevanda: pensavamo di aver pagato una coca cola e perciò l’ho richiesta, in modo calmo ed educato, ma a quanto pare lei, avendo capito male, aveva messo l’acqua nello scontrino e quando se ne è accorta ci ha raggiunte al tavolo, ed ha iniziato ad attaccarmi in modo esagerato sul fatto che io avessi commesso l’errore e a quel punto dovevo pagare assolutamente la coca cola che ormai mi aveva già stappato, cosa che non avevo rifiutato di fare sin da subito quando mi ha detto del fraintendimento. Siamo rimaste allibite. Mi ha trattata come una ladra che non voleva pagare, davanti alle persone in fila alla cassa e una volta che le ho dato i soldi (3€) di fronte a lei si è messa a ricontarli a voce alta davanti alle persone in fila. Si è messa a ridere quando le ho detto che io ero sicura di aver ordinato la coca cola e non dell’acqua. Mentre rifaceva lo scontrino per la benedetta coca cola, le avevo chiesto se fosse possibile applicare lo sconto studenti ed ha ribattuto scocciata e con troppa confidenza che ormai aveva già fatto lo scontrino e non poteva rifarlo, quando io avevo dato per scontato che lo avrei voluto applicare in quanto allo scontrino precedente lo avevo applicato. Che esperienza spiacevole per una cavolata del genere! Le consiglio vivamente di cambiare lavoro perché non è tagliata per stare a contatto con dei clienti! E NON È LA PRIMA VOLTA che accade, era già successo in precedenza con dei miei amici che lei iniziasse ad attaccarci in questo modo, forse perché più piccoli di lei.Tra l’altro leggendo alcune recensioni ho già visto lamentele nei suoi confronti.
