I had the pleasure of dining at Fabbrica del Grano and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment my group of friends and I stumbled upon the restaurant, we were impressed by the beautiful window displays showcasing their mouth-watering pastas and other delicious dishes. Upon entering, we were greeted by Nishu, a polite and welcoming staff member who went out of his way to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. He quickly arranged a table for us outside where we could enjoy the lovely atmosphere of the restaurant. The modern decor and traditional Italian flavors mixed perfectly to create a unique and memorable dining experience. As for the food, it was absolutely incredible. Each dish was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. From the handmade pastas to the decadent desserts, every bite was a treat for the taste buds. Overall, I cannot recommend Fabbrica del Grano enough. The combination of delicious food, unique atmosphere, and exceptional service from Nishu and the rest of the team make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

We recently dined at this cozy spot, and it was nothing short of fantastic !! The food was an absolute treat—each pasta dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing rich sauces and fresh ingredients. The green pesto pasta had a wonderful, earthy taste, paired perfectly with sun-dried tomatoes, adding a delightful contrast. The black pasta, served with a hint of seafood, was fresh and expertly prepared, with a subtle yet tantalizing smoky flavor. The standout was the plate of gnocchi in a vibrant red sauce, topped with a drizzle of basil pesto that added just the right freshness. The texture of the gnocchi was soft and pillowy, absorbing the sauce beautifully, making each bite unforgettable. From the ambiance to the presentation, everything was spot-on. If you’re looking for a place with authentic, flavorful dishes that hit all the right notes, this restaurant is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back for more.

After spending a weekend in Milan, I wanted to have one last meal at a restaurant to eat Carbonara. The restaurant had good reviews, so I went without hesitation. From the moment I walked in, I found it expensive and not very good, but I stayed because I wanted to try the Carbonara. I waited for the dish, and when it arrived, I found the taste strange. I only ate 6–7 pieces of pasta because I had doubts. My doubts were right: I ended up spending the night in the emergency room with food poisoning. My flight home was at 6 a.m. the next day, and I had the worst night of my life. If I had eaten the whole plate of pasta, what would have happened to me??? I expect a very quick response. It’s simple: I demand a full refund for my meal. I await your reply to my comment. (I gave 3 stars for the service because the waitress was kind.)

came in at 2 PM as a party of 2

mediocre service, waiters do the bare minimum. they won't clear your table in time, they won't tell you to enjoy your meal, won't say anything other than what is absolutely necessary. they won't set your cutleries properly for the next course, just kind of drop them off and expect you to set them on your table yourself I guess.

the food itself was pretty disappointing, although you do get an amuse bouche, which is a nice touch.

I got the caprese salad and a carbonara. the caprese came with warm cherry tomatoes kind of dangling together like someone tried to cut them in half but failed, some leaves of salad that felt like they came straight out of some box that's been sitting out all day. undressed (some olive oil wouldn't hurt), warm and dry. the only redeeming factor was the burrata, which came with a few drops of pesto on top, but was so obviously and painfully missing some balsamic or even olive oil if you wanna be cheap. obviously not worth the €16.

my main course was a carbonara, which consisted of warm egg yolks (guessing that's supposed to be the sauce), huge pieces of (what I assumed to be) bacon to be putting in pasta perched on top of the dish, a heaping teaspoon of pecorino grated on, and the star of the show, a pasta (allegedly made in-house) that felt like it was cooked in completely plain water with zero salt added in while also completely overshadowing the flavor of anything else with this unpleasant, rye bread flavor. again, you can get much better food for much cheaper elsewhere.

when we did finally try to get our bill, we had to wait for the waiters to finish talking to each other and give some attention to the paying customers sitting in their establishment.

overall, overpriced, over marketed and...

What a disappointment! Plus we left feeling like we were ripped off. Here's what happened:

We came on a Saturday night and were lucky to get a table in the tent in front of the restaurant. The air was pretty thick in there and there were some very loud groups sitting with us, so the atmosphere wasn't very nice.

The service was visibly tired and in a bad mood. We often saw the waitress smile quickly when serving a table and grimace when she turned away.

The food was good. Very nice fennel pasta, the parmigiana was also good and the wine was appropriate. We were sad that we couldn't choose the pasta, as the place sells very interesting ones with safran or spirulina.

Unfortunately, the price was extreme. For 2 people, each with a glass of wine, one pasta and an appetizer to share, we paid 66€.

3€ per person for service? The highest we saw in all of Milano.

And then we found out that the waiter had charged us for a different wine than we had ordered. After discussing it for 5 minutes, he agreed to change the bill, but still insisted that it was our mistake, telling us several times that we should have been more specific. We left with a very bad feeling and I even felt a little sick afterwards.

An experience I can't recommend. There are so many nice places in Milano, this was not...

Today I had dinner there alone. There were two waiters serving all the customers, one of them was really nice and respectful and the other one was rude enough to ruin my whole day. He asked me if I want some water and I asked for tap water. He then insisted that I choose between sparkling or still water. Then he took my order asking me if I want medium or large portion, while on the menu there was another option of small portion and of course cheaper. All of this was actually tolerable because you cannot expect everyone to be good at their job, although this is one of the worst service that I've ever had. What disgusted me was the next thing he did. I was sitting outside and I had two bags with me - one backpack with all my important stuff and the other one was just a canvas bag with shirtse inside. I took my backpack and went up to use the toilet inside the restaurant. When I stood up, the waiter yelled at me and said " Excuse me, you cannot go inside like that." I explained that I was going to use the toilet and he said that I couldn't leave my bag like that. Overall it was a terrible experience and the food was alright,...
