I previously visited Just Me Milano with my husband and had a fantastic experience, so I was excited to return for my sister’s 30th birthday celebration with a group of 10. Unfortunately, this time around, we were quite disappointed.

As expected, the food and cocktails were on the expensive side. The cocktails, however, were excellent—every single one we ordered was well-crafted and delicious. The food was good—tasty, fresh, nicely presented, and well-cooked—but not particularly exceptional for the price. One notable service touch was the waiter continuously topping up bread baskets before they were empty and refilling both still and sparkling bottled water.

Weeks before our visit, I had arranged a birthday surprise for my sister via email. I was given three options: a birthday cake, a Cavalli Special Dessert (a mix of small desserts and fruit served with sparklers), or a small dessert. I chose the Cavalli Special. The presentation was beautiful—two large dessert platters arrived with sparklers and birthday signs, accompanied by birthday songs. The effort was certainly five-star.

However, when the bill arrived, we were shocked to find we had been charged for two Cavalli Special Desserts instead of the one I requested. I was never informed of a price for the birthday dessert and was under the impression it was complimentary, as no cost was mentioned in the email correspondence. This unexpected charge was frustrating, especially since I had only requested one dessert, not two.

On top of that, we were charged for every bread basket that was continuously topped up without request, the bottled water that we didn’t ask for, and even a cover charge for napkins and cutlery. These hidden charges significantly increased the bill and left a sour taste.

To make matters worse, four of us felt like we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes under the table. We were continuously itching throughout our meal and returned to the hotel to find numerous red bites all over our bodies. Even two weeks later, the bites are still visible and have left small marks. If the restaurant is aware of this issue, they should consider using some sort of deterrent to protect their guests.

Another disappointment was the state of the toilets. For such an upscale restaurant, with beautiful decor, building and gardens, the facilities in the bathroom were below standard, with broken hand dryers that didn’t even work.

We were also told that after our meal, we could attend the club for free (which normally has an entry fee of around €15). However, after leaving our table and asking security how to enter the club, we were told it was closed. Instead, we were directed back inside the restaurant, where the atmosphere was supposed to shift into more of a "club vibe." When we first arrived at 8 PM, the atmosphere was flat, with only a couple of other diners and uninspiring music from the DJ. Things did pick up around 10–10:30 PM as more guests arrived, but overall, the experience was underwhelming.

Unfortunately, my second visit here did not live up to my first. While the drinks and presentation were excellent, the unexpected charges, mosquito bites, poor toilet facilities, and misleading club access made for a frustrating experience. I’m not sure I...

I never review anything, nevertheless I don’t want other people to feel as cheated as my friends and I felt in this club.

On the 27th May'17 we purchased a “VIP Table” (300€) to assist to the performance of Dj Martin Solveig in Cavalli on the 27th May, and result couldn’t be more disappointing. We spend over 25min to get into the club (even though we had already our table paid in advance), because of the CHAOS existing at the door. No organized queues, only single entrance where everyone was shouting to try to get into. Luckily, one of my friends is 1,95m tall, and shown the reservation paper to one of the staff members, and they allowed us to get into. We were able to get into the club (super crowded), and they took us to “the table”. In my experience, when you book you usually have a “private” space with chairs / sofa where to stay.

Reality is that they accommodate us in a corner INSIDE the dancing area, just under the super big screen (the 35 cm2 table was literally under a gigantic screen), and we had to “protect” the bottle from thieves constantly. We couldn’t dance, were pushed constantly (place was ultra-crowded), and had NO “private” area at all (that’s why you pay the amount paid, as well). We never had privacy, couldn’t seat nor had SPACE. We were six people in total, so we had to buy an extra ticket (20€) but we NEVER got our extra drink paid on top of the bottle.

On top of that, for a 70cl Tanqueray bottle they gave us 8 drinks (which is not enough, you do from 10 to 14 drinks per bottle more or less) and not enough ice; once we requested for more to the staff, they told us that this was what was included with the bottle. What was curious and I realized was that when someone ordered a drink in the bar, the quantity of Gin would be much much lower than those as per their “calculation”.

We decided to pick up the bottle and go to the bar to kindly ask for 3-4 extra soft drinks, and the bartender LIED to us saying that he had no more Tonic nor Lemon… 5 minutes after he was serving one Vodka LEMON. We spoke to him and his supervisor, and they offered us 2 more soft drinks in compensation, which was ridiculous.

As a summary:

  1. Even though we had a reservation in advance, spent 25min outside
  2. The table was in the middle of the dance floor, fully crowded and uncomfortable
  3. The drinks per bottle were not enough, nor was ICE
  4. The bartender lied to us
  5. We never got the extra drink that...

I was so excited for a night out at this place and ended up extremely disappointed. I started with a dinner at the restaurant, the food was average, meetballs were good, beef tartare was completely tasteless, dessert could be better, they don’t have any milk alternatives for cofffee and overall the spectrum of things you can choose from isn’t very big, the service was great tho. Then the whole experience started, I got into the club, they gave me a table somewhere in the corner, I didn’t like It and asked to be moved to a better once once they have something free. Meanwhile waiting for the better table i decided to order some drinks, It was ridiculous, 20minutes just to repeatedly ask for at least a bottle of water, before I got any drink, the waitress came to my table and I had to pay for everything before I even got It to my table. After I paid i refused to way any longer for my drinks and insisted on getting the water immediately, I finally got It, 35minutes after i placed my order, another 8 minutes for another two soft drinks, another 5 minutes for a coctail and finally the last thing from the order i received a coca cola so in total It took them almost 1 hour to bring me everything I asked for. Then finally the waited moved me to a better table, I liked It and enjoyed my drinks and music (not all because the DJ taste is definitely not fitting the club vibe and some of his songs aren’t even made to be danced on). Out of nowhere, after like 30minutes another waiter came to me and told me I must go back to the table I was sitting before, I asked why and he told me the tablets are reserved for people who buy bottles only. Considering the fact I have a serious sickness and can’t drink alcohol, buying a bottle isn’t an option for me, however I would easily manage to spend the equal amount on soft drinks, unfortunately that option wasn’t given to me. I refused to go back to the table I was before and was moved to a small one close to a “dance floor” (any free spot between tablets) I got moved to different table which was just ridiculously small, people around were hitting my head by their butts, hands and i was so uncomfortable. I decided to leave shortly afterwards. The restaurant is beautiful, the club is nice but needs a real improvements and especially the customer service should completely change. I was expected to be treated nicely which absolutely did not happen. You get better service in any...

One of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had in Milan—a city where we’ve come to expect excellence, whether in Michelin-starred dining, the Monza GP Paddock Club, or any number of world-class experiences. We had reserved and paid in advance for a VIP table to celebrate the F1 victory on Sunday, September 1st, which was especially significant with Ferrari’s win. I made the booking nearly a month in advance and was even provided a floor plan upon request. However, the table we were ultimately given bore no resemblance to the one shown in the floor plan. To make matters worse, the waiter repeatedly questioned who would cover the bill every time I stepped away, despite the fact that I had already paid €1,500 upfront. This unprofessionalism culminated in one of our group members paying an additional €1,100 out of frustration due to the waiter’s persistent inquiries. The crowd, the staff, and the overall atmosphere felt far from luxurious—it was cheap, chaotic, and completely unsuitable for what should have been a proper celebration. I can confidently say: never again.

to start this place seems incredibly cool, nice atmosphere and incredible music and lights. have only heard cool things about it. so i wanted to try. i came here with two friends at 10pm without reservations. the bouncer didn’t let us in obviously so we stepped aside and got a reservation then went back to him. then he says to the 3 of us. you can’t come in come back at 11pm when we “open” (ppl were already inside?!) so we come back later ready to go in with our 3 tickets (45€ tot) when he then points at my friend and says he can’t come in! we had to take an uber back home. he is not from milan how could he know?? the bouncer and other worker had gotten several looks at him. could’ve EASILY told us earlier you need formal attire, this place is clearly incredibly cool but a joke. made us waste the whole evening and money. asked for a refund, hope they actually issue it.
