Very rude and arrogant staff! They don’t even let you finish your drink and asks you to go out because they need the table. We are very fast eaters, don’t think that we just order a coffee and occupy the place for hours. They don’t mention any table returning time in their menu, or in anywhere in the restraunt. The pizzas were just ordinary pizzas you can eat anywhere in Milan.
Yesterday, we went to Marghe for dinner at 19:30 at opening with my girl friend. We were very quick to order because we decided before coming. We were the first people that gave order in the evening.
We were hungry and we ate very fast our pizzas. When it comes to dessert time we want to order two tiramisus, a cafe lungo and an aperol spritz. He told something unintelligble in English about the table. Then he said “anyway” and brought our order.
While we were eating our tiramusus he disturbed us with rude looks on our table. Then, while we are in the middle of our drinks and tiramisus he came to table and said they need the table. We said, okay where we can go to finish our drinks and desserts. He said we need to leave the restaurant. We couldn’t completely eat our desserts and drink our drinks. Our date with my girl friend went a disturbing night.
They should remove drink and dessert menu because they don’t let you eat and drink them. I would like to mention again that we are fast eaters already and we are not like taking a cafe and spending hours.
If they have a table occupation time, then they have to mention it in their menu, or tell you before your order. Very...
Read moreIf I could rate this place with negative stars I would. Came here for dinner around 9pm and it was busy. Not packed like they were super busy just pleasantly busy with a fair number of tables available. We got seated with an Italian menu and then we’re forgotten. We don’t speak Italian so we tried using google translate which was ok but didn’t help enough. When we finally had someone come to our table it was a brown haired girl who probably had IBS or heartburn (she looked sick) My husband asked for an English menu and she said they didn’t have any then just looked at us like we’d miraculously learn Italian. She left and when I waved her down again to ask her about items from the menu she said “one second” and proceeded to clean and walk to every table but ours with her “one second” promise. She avoided our table until we got fed up and left. It wasn’t the fact that all this happened that made me leave. It was the fact I knew I’d have to pay a service charge (I think 2 euro). I couldn’t pay that knowing she and everyone else who called themselves “servers” were...
Read moreWe were welcomed by very friendly staff who tried their absolute best to seat us despite the restaurant being very crowded. We were pleasantly suprised by the diversity of the menu and the prices. The are we got seated in was loud, but cozy.
We each ordered one of the gourmet pizzas. Alas, it took 50 minutes for them to arrive. The pizzas sound very promising, but most of the ingredients on there add more to the aesthetic than the flavour. The most present flavour in both of our pizzas was the tomato base, not the fancy toppings they advertise on the menu. They were not bad, but definitely lacked a flavour that stood out. The dough was really good though!
The desserts made up for the slight dissapointment of the pizza, and so did the wine. The bill was very reasonable as well.
According to the reviews, it seems we maybe got unlucky or we ordered the wrong pizza.
TLDR: Friendly staff and great atmosphere, but the pizzas...
