We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights on the 8th floor with a balcony.

Firstly the staff were very kind and very helpful at all times, they helped us with whatever we needed or questions that we had also.

The room was very comfortable, if not a little small for 2 people, the wardrobe is really only big enough for 1 person's worth of stuff. The air conditioning was good but old, and it blasts directly onto you so it can be difficult to find a comfortable ambient temperature for sleeping, it can also take a few minutes to turn back on after being turned off.

We had a balcony on the 8th floor which was fantastic, the only issue was that the lights outside just did not work, we tried using the switch etc but they just wouldn't turn on, also there seems to be this mist that falls on the balcony occasionally, I assume from one of the big AC units on the roof so just be careful because you will get wet out there sometimes.

Also do not make the mistake we did and pull the cord in the shower (which is short and not labeled) thinking it was for the extractor fan, because it's an emergency alarm and the staff have to come up to the room to turn it off, completely our fault.

There is also no complimentary water in the rooms which was quite frustrating as you can't drink the tap water and it meant needing to go to a shop every day to buy some.

The breakfast is nice, we were able to include it in our budget because of a discount on the room we got for signing up online (make sure you do this). Otherwise I don't think I would have included it for the price. It was nice and it was handy but it wasn't cheap.

The entrance has two flights of stairs down, with no ramp or lift so if you're traveling with heavy luggage, with a wheel chair or with someone with reduced mobility it might be difficult to navigate unless they have a separate entrance that is more accessible.

There were two major issues I had with this hotel.

Firstly, one of the days we were there the power kept cutting every maybe 10 minutes 4 or 5 times in the space of an hour which was very frustrating.

Secondly, the elevators are not good at all. The entire week we were there, there was consistent problems. They just kept breaking and the staff were not putting up signs to say that they were out of order, so one morning we got in and got stuck! We had to ring the alarm to get out, and we were not the only ones that this happened to there was multiple people every morning getting trapped. They have 3 elevators but you were lucky if even one was working. We also had to ask where to find the stairs (not very fire safe) because they were completely hidden behind multiple doors. We had to use the stars on 4 occasions (some workout being on the 8th floor in that heat). There are also staff elevators which seemed to work fine but even when the elevators were broken they didn't seem to offer these to anyone either.

Other than that it was a very enjoyable place to stay, the room was clean, the staff were nice and the location is very good, it's only about a 5 minute walk from the M1 metro line which takes you into the city centre. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind having to walk up the stairs...

We are a small family me, wife and 2 kids, and our room got STOLEN in this hotel while we were outside for a family trip to COMO all the safe was taken which was locked including my passports the ipads, the hotel managers were not cooperative and refused to check the CCTV cameras (except for Mrs TATIANA who was somehow cooperative) we went to police station to make a complaint, imagine that you put your valuable items and documents inside the most secured place in your room/hotel and got totally removed by the thief, who entered the hotel without any question from any security or desk manager, then go upstairs by elevator in-front of the CCTVs and go to my room specifically and enters it with a CARD (no violence happened), then take the safe and puts it inside one of my cabin bags and goes outside the hotel acting as a guest?!!!! I accuse the hotel of stealing me either directly or by facilitating the job of the thief (someone gave him the mater-card), what about the CCTVs?!! HUGE SECURITY FAILURE AND LEAK!! Regarding the police they did not come at all to inspect or do their job!!! I went to my consulate and issued temporary travel documents. Thanks God no harm happened to me or my family, but you know the difficulties of issuing new passports and time delay and cost for that!! Shame on...

One of the best stays I've had in Italy probably. I've read mixes reviews, maybe I was lucky but my experience was very positive.

The staff was very friendly and helpful which is something rare these days, especially in overcrowded cities like Milano or Roma during summertime. Bernadeth at the reception was very attentive to our needs and very helpful. One of the days of our stay, I was not feeling well, so my wife ordered food from the restaurant we were supposed to attend and the staff provided everything we needed to have dinner there.

The rooms were cleaned everyday, changed towels, robes and bed. AC worked fine. We stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor, very quiet. All the average standard of a 4 star hotel were met. I've been in many hotels around the globe where that didnt happen some even way more expensive.

Here you can expect a goodnight of sleep in a good confy bed, the hotel location is great next to everything you need and 5min walk to metro that will take you to Duomo very easily. Cleaned rooms, friendly staff. We didn't have breakfast there cause we wanted to explore the local spots but the buffet seemed pretty decent.

Overall I would say it was good value for the prices. I would definitely stay here again, whenever we come...

We stayed at Starhotels Ritz in Milan for 10 days as a family, booking two separate rooms. Unfortunately, our experience was far from ideal. In the room I shared with a family member, we had constant issues with the air conditioning. Despite repeatedly informing the staff, the AC never improved. Eventually, we were moved to another room, but the problem persisted. We were given a fan, which we used for the entire stay — not ideal during a hot Milanese summer. Meanwhile, the AC in my other family members’ room worked perfectly fine, which made the situation even more frustrating. The overall comfort and cleanliness of the hotel were disappointing. The rooms didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned, and to top it off, we found a spider on our last day. Another major downside is the hotel entrance. You need to walk down a flight of stairs to reach the reception, making it inconvenient for guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage. This design flaw really needs reconsideration. On a positive note, the reception staff were relatively friendly, especially Frank, who was always kind and polite. Despite trying my best to enjoy the stay, I cannot say I was happy with the overall experience. I hope this review helps others set the right expectations
