THE SEATING AND DINING TIME IS DECIDED BY THE DOORMAN?!
Sorry for the 1 star. I could’ve give 1 more star for the supervisor came in and ask nicely in fluent English. But, the experience was so hurtful!
I was dine in for lunch. I was there early so I got a 4 seated table but I was there by myself. After meal, I quietly sitting there using my computer. THEN, the doorman came to me and saying bunch of Italian, which I don’t understand. Seems like he’s asking me to leave!? I’ve experience Macdonald in more than dozens of countries, and I have never been asked to leave!! Anyway, I ignored him and stayed. Then he came to me again pointed at an old woman, showing that she wanted to sit. Of course I said okay. But she refused to sit across from me, sharing same table?! Then the doorman went to the supervisor. The supervisor explained in fluent English that the old woman need to sit on the chair where she can rest her back. Then I told him that it’s okay for her to sit across from me. But the old woman refused again. Then the supervisor ask me nicely see if I would give up the seats for her. Then I said yes and change the seat. The supervisor offered me a coffee, but I refused.
The presence of THE DOORMAN is walking around inside and ask people to leave soon after they finish the meal. I can understand that the place is busy and you want to serve as many customers as possible, but the method is by asking other customers to leave?? It’s just a shame a chain fast food store like Macdonald is managed by a...
Read moreMcDonald’s used to be known for consistency and convenience, but after the recent scandal, it is impossible to see the brand with the same eyes. What should have been a simple meal now feels like a gamble with quality and safety.
The real problem is trust. Once customers start questioning what is really in the food, the entire foundation of the brand collapses. Instead of clear answers and transparent accountability, McDonald’s has responded with silence, vague statements, and corporate spin. For a company of this size, with millions of families relying on it every day, that is simply unacceptable.
Visiting the restaurants only reinforces this disappointment. Food quality is inconsistent, often served lukewarm or poorly prepared. Service is rushed and impersonal. Cleanliness in several locations falls below even basic standards. Combined with the shadow of the scandal, every bite now feels tainted with doubt.
It is shocking that a global leader would allow itself to fall so low. McDonald’s has the resources to set the highest standards in the industry, but instead it has chosen shortcuts, cost-cutting, and damage control. The scandal made one thing clear: the brand’s priorities are not the customers, but the profits.
For me, McDonald’s no longer represents safety, trust, or value. Until the company makes real, visible changes, starting with honesty, I cannot recommend it to anyone. The golden arches are supposed to symbolize happiness, but now they only remind us of what happens when...
