Vulkania — Restaurant in Milan

First off - i actually wanted to give it 2 stars. The only thing that made it 3 is because of one very talented, serviceminded and kind waitress.

The resrurant got a good look, with a modern interior, with the option to sit inside and outside (inside you got to heve a covid sertificat). Outside is beside the road, and can be a bit noisy, but the offer is still there. There is also alot of "delivery Bois" comeing to this resturant, that was a little bit irritating, since they drove the scooters right beside you as you where eating, and smoked/ shouted from time to time.

Food wise me and my girlfriend both orderd pasta. The pasta was really undercooked, sad, and came with in a pizzabowl. The pizzabowl is a really cool idea, but also really disappoining... it did not seem fresh, and was really, really, hard to eat. So that did not work out good. My pasta dish with mushrooms and sousedge had alot greas and did not taste good at all, so I left it. My stomach was also wery funny the night after.

Last, I think the way to go is pizza. When we sat there, it was obvious that it was alot of take-away pizzas. So I belive...

Beware of restaurants need travelers to pay for extra meals!!! The waiter mistakenly ordered an extra pizza without apologizing. The waiter repeated the order in Italian and pointed that I answered "YES". It is normal for a traveler do not understand Italian, so I specifically typed the order details on my phone for the female waiter to follow. The text on the phone did not include the extra pizza, and I did not answer "YES". The waiter repeated the order in Italian, which I couldn't understand. La mia recente esperienza al ristorante Vulkania di Milano, in via Valtellina, non è stata purtroppo positiva.

Iniziamo con la birra, servita a mio parere troppo frizzante e con una velocità che mi ha fatto pensare a una spillatura frettolosa.

La pizza napoletana, che avevo ordinato con aspettative, è arrivata bruciata, con un sapore di bruciato predominante che ha reso difficile apprezzare gli altri ingredienti.

I paccheri, serviti in un piatto di pasta di pizza freddo, erano crudi e dalla consistenza dura, dando l'impressione che potessero essere stati preparati in precedenza.

Il piatto che mi ha deluso maggiormente è stato il misto carne da 25 euro: tre piccoli pezzi di carne (pollo, salamelle e manzo) cotti in modo non uniforme.

Avevo richiesto una cottura al sangue per la carne, ma è arrivata stracotta, soprattutto il pollo e il manzo, che risultavano particolarmente duri.

L'unica eccezione è stata la salamella, che ho trovato di gusto accettabile.

Un ulteriore dettaglio negativo è stato il modo in cui è stata servita la salsa barbecue: in un pezzo di carta stagnola arrotolato, una presentazione a mio avviso inadeguata e poco pratica, soprattutto considerando il prezzo del piatto di carne.

Evidentemente, fornire una piccola ciotola sarebbe stato considerato troppo dispendioso.

Un aspetto positivo è stato il pane, che ho apprezzato. Il servizio, tuttavia, è stato a mio avviso frettoloso.

I piatti sono stati portati via rapidamente, senza che ci venisse chiesto se avessimo terminato, e con del cibo ancora presente.

Il conto finale includeva anche le patatine fritte, che ho trovato molli e gommose e non particolarmente gustose.

In conclusione, la mia esperienza al Vulkania è stata al di sotto delle aspettative.
