miscusi | pasta fresca - Milano Bocconi — Restaurant in Milan

miscusi Bocconi turned out to be a functional, good value for money restaurant in the proximity of the famous Bocconi University of Milan. I was impressed by the advance digitalisation of the service process. You make your reservation online, each of the people around the table order online and the payment is made online at the end. The only interaction with the personal is when arriving and seeing you at the table, delivering the food and drink and when you say "Arrivederci!". Food: they have a good selection of recipes with especially pasta and risotto options at good value for money price tags. Cleanliness: very clean, nothing to complain here. Personal attitude: people are friendly and they want to help but you can sense from the fast response and stress to honour the orders as soon as the kitchen releases the plates that they are judged mainly by the productivity and not about the friendliness showed to your customers.

We were satisfied with our experience with the only observation that everything is under the "efficiency" tag, you feel that you are there to eat, pay and leave because somebody else should take a seat at your table soon. If you are looking for a restaurant to serve a quick business lunch, this is the place to be. If you are looking for a restaurant where you want to enjoy a good meal with a bottle of wine with your friends, I do not think this will be the right atmosphere.

Overall, this is a place where you know what you get at a correct money for value...

Overall food is okay, but the staff clueless. The waitress, after sitting us down, asked if we speak English or Italian then she just pointed at the QR code on the table which says „order and pay here”. The English version of the website was barely in English, after we finally ordered and paid (half done in Italian) the waitress came and asked why we didn’t order anything, we said we did and magically she brought us the order. So even though the food was okay the overall experience kinda sucked. Edit after reading your response: well judging from your reply the order wasn’t done via takeaway page lmao and even if it was I strongly suggest working on English version of the website cause half of it is in Italian. Second of all, the waitress came up and literally said „you didn’t order anything” so I’d argue if that was a polite...

I dont want to be harsh cos there are so many likes for this place, but im wondering if the bots have taken over here. Lots of reviews with only short google history. Anyhoo - i visited the place and was sat down and shown the QR where all future communication was conducted. I only ordered beer and a pasta. Beer was bottled and fine. Pasta was as described, however like out of a McDonald's production line. Ie was fine but fast food. I can only presume the zillions of high scores for this place come from students from uni nearby. Either way, if you're a 50ish couple travelling, maybe dont come here looking for 4.6 score pasta, atmosphere, and service. But, if you are a student, this place...
