Great Apulian food and find! My wife made reservations here after researching (and reading NY Times article featuring 25 Essential Pasta Dishes in Italy) and looking for a good place to dine for a special occasion (ie my 50th birthday) with a friend of ours that lives nearby. We had dined at a special restaurant the night before for my actual birthday and we wanted a more low key to dine with a good friend. Well we found it! This place is a gem as the food is superb and the prices cannot be beat!

It is a informal place but still a great place for a special occasion. Food was amazing and the quality could not be beat!

Very affordable and high quality for the price.

No reservations and highly recommend.

We also came on a special night as the chef also had a birthday! Francesco Bordone celebrated with his staff and lovely wife! He came by and talked to us as well and was a pleasure to talk to such a...

My girlfriends and I immediately made reservations at Ricci Osteria after hearing the NYT food critics were asked to name the 25 best pasta places in Italy and this restaurant made the list. Their orecchiette pasta dish made with anchovy breadcrumbs was mentioned as a favorite so the 3 of us ordered it along with a fresh lettuce garden salad and wine. Preceding the meal was homemade semolina bread and complimentary sampler of miniature dishes meatballs in a tasty tomato based sauce. From beginning to end we were treated like royalty. The prices are reasonable, the food was so fresh and well prepared, and our server, David, was 5 stars. It is a special place for an unpretentious evening just celebrating life with good food with friends and family. If in Milan, do yourself a favor and make a...

We had a quick meal here on a Friday night and arrived quite full from a late lunch and contemplated canceling prior but persevered after reading the reviews of authentic Puglian food. I’m very glad we showed up. Beautiful interior quite minimal but cozy and simply elegant. I don’t usually eat beef tartar but it was recommended and I surprised myself devouring it. Wonderful citrusy sauce kind of like a ceviche and the sliced mandarin and whatever root vegetable was with were awesome. This was an excellent dish. I then had a puglian pork traditional dish with potatoes and this was also incredible. Pounded filet rolled up. Just an excellent meal and had I arrived more prepared I would have stayed for hours and done dessert. This is a top...

I could write a novel about this place. A very long, detailed review is necessary for such a place. But rather than that, I’ll just say it’s the pinnacle of cuisine in Milan. Yes, it’s not the typical food of Lombardy, it’s from Puglia, but the quality and presentation cannot be beat nor replicated. We made a reservation for Sunday in Puglia, a lunch special with set courses and some wine and espresso. Everything is obviously so fresh. But more than anything, the servers were incredible and even the (slightly obnoxious manager/owner) old guy out front was tolerable. Couples and groups trickled in throughout the afternoon. Interior is so well designed. Every inch and moment of the experience is curated here. Well worth the expense, bravo!

Simply and pretty #osteria, decorated in a modern style, located between Corso Indipendenza and Corso XXII Marzo. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, ready to explain every dish and ingredient. The food is flavorful, from Puglia's traditions, and served in generous portions. I highly recommend the Ricciola Tartare and the eggplant #Parmigiana! The price-quality ratio is good, with the cover charge justified by #homemade products. Note: the cost of water and coffee, however, is out of line with the rest of the menu. Great flavors and #friendly people... in other words, definitely worth a return visit!

I went there by mistake and end up pleasantly surprised. I am a journalist and I travel a lot and love to eat local. Massimiliano, the host was amazing, he gave us a table immediately. Service is excellent. Cozy place, very intimate. Food was out of this world, you can spot right away the hand of a famous chef. Orecchiette, hand made pasta, were excellent. The meat, polpette were exactly like my Nonna’s. Affordable prices, top quality and interesting wine list. Total “pugliese” but with a modern touch. Will go back for sure. Highly recommend it for a visit if you’re in Milan.
