Read some of the review and decided to give it a try. I hate tourist trap and what's suprising is when it's not located in a tourist location and it's a proper restaurant. I was choosing a decent place for a good dinner experience but it was rather disappointing. Let's start with the servers, they seem lost and not focused on serving pax. While waiting for my order we noticed wrong orders served and left on the table until the customer could get the attention of the server who took the order to replace it. Even a simple bottle of water took them 5 mins meanwhile they were just walking around looking lost. We ordered a large bottle of water (€3) and the server came with 2 small bottles (€2 each) and they just started opening up both bottles. I told the server we ordered a big bottle, he then told me that they ran out of big bottles. The server could have informed me when I was ordering but did not and just assumed I'm okay with it. So while waiting for our food to be served we noticed (15mins later) that 1 of table with 4 pax were served a big bottle of water which they said ran out. I started looking around and there were 2 other tables with big bottles. At that point I really didn't want to bother with it.
Then came the food. It was the wrong order, I asked the server what happened? He just told me it is made this way already, no apologies until I said but this is not what I ordered. Already waited 25mins, I decided that all I want is to get out of here at least not being angry and hungry. After finishing the mediocre food with the poor service to add on the above average pricing I decided that this is not a place to visit anymore.
When I asked for bill again the server took like 3 trips until I had to make eye contact with him again to make him get the bill. Before the bill came he conversed with another staff pointing at the bill before coming to me. When I looked at the bill I was charged with 2 bottles of water for which I only took 1. I asked him what happened, and they started to put on a show and started to talk to each other. I had enough and left with extra on top of their cover charged (€2.50 per pax). Tipping for their showmanship and bidding goodbye as my last visit to this place.
I was there around 8.45pm just after...
Read moreA very unfortunate place to eat , from the moment I got in it was a very strange welcome,I was told that by 21hrs I must leave , I understand the concept that they need the table for more clients to server , but the delivery was odd, then you would think that the waiters should be on the ball and get your order fast to get you out fast .... but no it was slow ... I had to finally call them over to get my order placed as I only had 1hrs 10 min left ! I should have known that... things could not get any better. Now for the food it was so ordinary without and seasonings ....at ALL! I kept on asking for some salt can I have some paper. The veal Milanese looked great and very tender but it had zero taste, I was asking for some lemon to give it some taste... it took so long to get any as they kept on forgetting it. In a city where you have so much choice of good Italian food , don't waste you money and eat here. The most annoying thing is they brought some old bread that I did not ask for and at the end charged me 3Euro for it ......
Read moreYou can say what you like... But the food sucked balls.
I'll post some photos but it'll show the presentation but the taste and flavor was missing.
I had the Milanese risotto with ossobucco. It's supposed to be a classic dish that you can find everywhere in Milan. Please don't have it here. (No Browning of the beef and it tasted like the whole thing was boiled in water before serving and masked with a orange looking gravy)
My friends had seafood linguine which again was totally tasteless.
We were wow-ing about the steak Florentine big enough for 2 people but when it was served... I thought the steer was just MURDERED. Gamey and bloody. No caramelization. Nothing. They had to take it back to re-do.
I HOPE THEY IMPROVE. IF YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM A CHANCE. GO AHEAD.
YOU'VE...
