Ristorante Pizzeria Al Mercante in Fiera — Restaurant in Milan

🚨 WARNING – DO NOT GO HERE! 🚨

I never leave reviews unless absolutely necessary, but I want to warn other travelers: this place is a SCAM and tourist trap.

We tried to order pizza, but were told the kitchen was closed for it. They pushed us to order pasta instead. However, we saw them making pizza for other tables all night! When we asked, they gave a different excuse, claiming the oven wasn’t warm enough.

IT GETS WORSE! They overcharged us, adding fake service fees, kitchen charges, and taxes per plate. When we had someone help translate the bill, we discovered they even charged us for coffee and sandwiches we never ordered.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this place...

I went here to have dinner with international colleagues on a Saturday evening. The food was average and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately during our dinner my bag got stolen, yet we did not notice anyone else close to our table who wouldn't be either clients or staff. My girlfriend and I were looking for a real authentic Italian meal and we were over the moon to find this place. The staff were so nice, the food was unbelievable and the vibe just brought everything together. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food.
