Sofa Cafe — Restaurant in Milan

Sofa Milano was the perfect little morning stop while exploring the Navigli area.

The outdoor seating was super chill and gave us that relaxed, authentic Milanese vibe we were hoping for.

We tried the lungo espresso, cappuccino, a fresh brioche, and a classic Italian sandwich with turkey and cheese. Everything was fresh and flavorful, the coffee was bold but smooth, the brioche was perfectly flaky, and the sandwich hit the spot.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it really added to the whole experience. It’s the kind of place you want to sit for a while, sip your coffee, and enjoy the neighborhood.

We visited this bar just recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

The waitress accidentally spilled two full drinks over me, leaving me completely soaked. Mistakes can happen, of course, but what was upsetting was the way it was handled afterwards.

There was no discount, no replacement drink offered, and no real apology. Instead, we were simply left sitting there, and later even told that they were “not allowed” to give a price reduction.
