Formal Complaint Regarding Disastrous Private Dinner I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frankly, outrage, regarding the disastrous private dinner event that my company booked and held at your restaurant on27/3/2025 As the client who personally organized and paid for the exclusive use of your entire restaurant for this occasion, I can unequivocally state that the experience was a complete and utter disgrace. This dinner was intended to be a special evening for a group of highly esteemed international high-tech executives. Instead, it turned into an embarrassing and humiliating ordeal due to the unacceptable level of service and unprofessional conduct of your staff. To detail the appalling experience: • The first course was served after an inexcusable delay of nearly one and a half hours. • Shockingly, the main course was never served to approximately half of our guests. • After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, we were forced to leave the restaurant without receiving our main dishes or the scheduled dessert. • Repeated attempts to address the delays with your on-site representatives were met with polite but ultimately empty assurances that the issues were being addressed. • We were given various excuses, including the kitchen being understaffed. • The situation escalated to an unbelievable level when an individual identified by your restaurant manager as her "boss" yelled at me, the paying client, for expressing my dissatisfaction. • His outrageous comment that I was not in a "fast food restaurant" after we had been waiting for over three hours for food for half of our party was both insulting and utterly unprofessional. • I have never encountered such behavior in my 32 years of organizing conferences and events worldwide. • Despite paying a significant sum of money for this exclusive event – a price we did not contest – we were subjected to this abysmal treatment. • Our Italian representative attempted to explain the unacceptable waiting times and the inappropriateness of the "boss's" behavior in Italian, but to no avail. The entire experience was a complete humiliation, and I am still in disbelief at the level of incompetence and disrespect we encountered. I have been organizing events for top-tier executives for over three decades and have never witnessed such a catastrophic failure in service. To add insult to injury, we have not even received a phone call to offer an apology for this truly unacceptable experience. We paid for a service we did not receive, were subjected to hours of waiting, and then were yelled at for expressing our entirely justified frustration. This is beyond unacceptable. I demand a comprehensive explanation for this appalling treatment and expect to hear from you immediately regarding the steps you intend to take to rectify this...
Read moreI would give this restaurant a wide berth if you're looking for an even half-decent meal. I love Italian food, I love good quality ingredients, i love eating out and am more than happy to pay for a pleasant dining experience. This place, however, didn't tick any of these boxes. The staff were rude and the food was awful. We were served by a disinterested waiter, who actually turned out to be THE MANAGER! We were given a brown paper bag with dried bread...I'm still unsure why. My carbonara was cold and the sauce tasted like cheap powdered cheese sauce. When I asked the staff to replace my meal as it was cold I was given no apology, and no offer of a replacement (which to be honest, I wouldn't have accepted as this dish was of worse quality than that served in McDonalds. In fact, that's doing McDonald's an injustice). My partner's lasagne was also cold and dry. When we said we didn't want either meal the 'manager' stormed over to our table and snatched the bags of bread away - good enough as even the birds would have turned their noses up - without any mention of an apology or an offer. I've honestly never seen such behaviour in a restaurant. We decided to leave as he obviously had absolutely no interest in our custom. One waitress attempted to run after us as we'd not paid the bill..... She said we couldn't leave without talking to 'the manager ' ... I said I was happy to wait to speak to him. When she attempted to get his attention to come to speak to us he obviously realised it was futile and didn't bother with us. She then 'allowed' us to leave, as if dismissing the naughty kids from the classroom. I've honestly never experienced anything like this before. I just hope if you chose this restaurant you won't be as disappointed as we were...on...
Read moreThis location is a guarantee for those who love wine and tasting something. We chose Signorvino sui Navigli for a dinner. Really large location with many tables outside, also with a view of the Naviglio in a magical atmosphere! Inside we can also find a shop where you can buy wine. And it is here that I asked for a recommendation among wines and I must say that I was very well advised! The mise en place is simple with paper placemats and napkins. The wine chosen is a Satèn Franciacorta "Magneficentia UBERTI 2019" ... fantastic! The choice for food fell on the now "famous" IMPERIAL platter with Parma Ham DOP 24 months, Mortadella Favola Gran Riserva by Palmieri, Salame campagnolo by Peveri, Coppa piacentina DOP by Grossetti, some excellent Culatello di Zibello DOP, Spalla cotta "La Proibita Capitelli", a Stracciatella from Puglia, a Focaccia Pinsa, Gnocco fritto and mini corn breadsticks by Zorzi. in addition to a platter of cheeses with Parmigiano Reggiano DOP 24 months by Gennari, a good Asiago DOP from Bruna cow "Latterie Vicentine", a Goat cheese in pistachio crust "Cora" of Gorgonzola dolce DOP "Gran Riserva Leonardi" and the Plum and Chianti DOCG jam. Basically a dinner fit for a King and Queen! We left...
