Tenconi Old Pub — Restaurant in Milan

Against my better judgement, we stopped here for a drink after seeing San Siro to catch one of the Euro matches. Definitely a locals pub, a proper “dive” bar, with people from the neighborhood coming in for cigarettes and other small things. It seems to serve as a small convenience store as well as a bar and gathering place. It has a rustic charm to it but we were disappointed in the lack of a friendly atmosphere. The bartender was a miserable overweight dude who served our drinks in shabby plastic cups. I wouldn’t have cared if he then served locals their drinks in proper glassware. Excellent pub next to Stadio San Siro that I visited with my girlfriend. Excellent spot to visit after a tour of the stadium and I'm sure would also be great on match day. Great service from the very helpful and friendly people behind the bar.

Typical Bar for stadium fans. Very efficient for the Inter & Milan fans after the matches, in front of the Stadio San Siro. It tends to look like a UK pub, but it's more like an Italian barreto.
