We arrived here straight from the airport, since we had a reservation and didn't want to be late. I like the fact that the door is full of awards and mentions, it's a nice touch, but it raises the expectations a lot. Restaurant is typical italian, cramped with old tables and loud atmosphere, but this is why you go to Italy. Table was still available and we were sat and promptly greeted by our server. We ordered some water and wine first Appetizers were: bruschetta with some tomato sauce and prosciutto and the other one was some kind of thinly sliced Porchetta with a cabbage salad. Both were tasty Mâine courses were: Pasta with ragu for me and another type of pasta, beautifully shaped with ricotta filling and some honey sauce on the bottom. Both were very delicious, especially with extra parmiggiano. The desert however was not for my taste because the pistachio tiramisu came a bit warm...? I don't know if this is how it should have been or a mistake. Tasted ok, but I was expecting it cold. Overall I do recommend this place, it's nice, welcoming, italian. The missing star is for the tiramisu and the portions that should be just A...

Dinner with friends. I ordered crostone with provola as a starter, then mashed potatoes with faraona on top, as second dish. At the end I also ordered mascarpone. We also had a bottle of wine opened, nebbiolo, 2020. Overall taste was good. But I am really disappointed about quantity of food served, price and dishes presentation (which by the way Is not really the issue here). This is supposed to be a "trattoria", but the place pictures the image of a starred restaurant with tiny and refined dishes (which are not)! Crostone was three pieces of fried bread with provola on top. There was an embarrassing salad on the side. Only Mascarpone was bad, even in taste! Literally 3 balls of mascarpone with candied fruit on top. Taste was nothing apart from mascarpone you can find in supermarkets. To recap: definitely overpriced with minimal quantity of serviced food. You end up paying 35 €/person but still being hungry. I honestly do not understand all this positive reviews...

We were as desperate to love this place as a bachelor on his 999th date. There just wasn't enough connection to get to first base. Starting with arriving and being watched by the itinerant team as we searched for somewhere to put our coats. Our waiter, who handled our plates and cutlery, similarly handled his hair, beard, and nose around a dozen times. Apparently, not enough to make him happy to see or care for us. He was as perfunctory as a US/Mexico border guard. The pan-fried mozzarella appetiser was passable, though more cafe than trattoria. The lasagne was overcooked, with indistinguishable flavours. The seasonal fruit sorbet arrived. Single flavour, ok... " Excuse me, what flavour is this?"..." seasonal fruit"...typified the experience. My colleagues felt the same, though the ravioli is excellent. The wine by the glass too was good. I'm not sure what apart from a few local elements rates this as slow food.

Amazing place with great seasonable dishes that change each season. Traditional but with modern taste. Small portion so you can order many dishes. We had spicy cubed eggplant and caramelised onion with pear and gorgonzola on crostone bread as starter. Ravioli filled with walnut and gorgonzola with butter and honey, meat mascheroni as primo. Followed by tripa soup with fresh vegetables and beans (really amazing). Mascarpone served with rose and peperoncino sauce and fresh ricotta ice cream with fresh strawberry, whipped cream and meringue as deserts. Highly recommended.
