Hands down the best restaurant we ate at on our honeymoon in Sicily. Pleasure to watch the artists at work in the kitchen. waitstaff and sommelier were wonderful! The experience was one witch brought back the essence of positive memories and we also learned many new things. I would recommend going early if you want more attention and going late if you like the rhythm of a restaurant. We did the 9 course tasting and wine pairing and it was worth it. My favorite dish was the mackerel with caper powder and my husband’s was the beef cheek with peanut sauce but it was all wonderful. We mostly had Sicilian wines and wished we could find them again in New York. I am grateful we chose this restaurant and will dream of it again… sigh 😌

They might be able to reach for The star. You could sense that they are trained for a great service, willing to make an effort for you (even though they don't have everything for it) A great explosion of taste for the menu 4 services. The tuna was perfectly cooked. I usually never really like dessert unless they are exceptional, and I have to say that it was their master piece. Close your eyes when you'll eat it, it wakes you up! Small minus because they mixed our 4services with the 5 services (in terms of portions for 2 of the dishes) Doesn't really matter for us but that could have been perfect.

one of the most interesting restaurants in the area, a new location for them with a beautiful relaxing outdoor space. chef Giacomo Caravello offers excellent traditional dishes with a touch of magic, the sea urchin crostini and the grilled octopus are very good. His first delicate and great tasting balice is worth trying. Congratulations to the guys in the dining room and to the sommelier who made us try beautiful things from the slopes of Etna

I had dinner one week a go at Balice restaurant with other two friends. I have to say that is a pleasure for me to text this review ,because I know perfectly the progress that this restaurant did since it borned. Giacomo is grate chef with a lot of ideas for new dishes. The menu change many times during the year, to be tight to the seasons products. We started the dinner eating delicious starters, with a lot of taste and so high perform technic, continuing with great first dishes so tasteful and with some surprises that let you enthusiastic. Following second dishes and incredible dessert. Giacomo gives you an experience of travel between tradition, tastes and variability of Sicily, with a look at international cook and revisiting dishes in a modern way with high technic. This travel between taste and perfumes, couldn’t be possible without a nice wine list and a great staff who’s follow you during this trip. The bill is right for this dinner and the level of the dishes. I advice you to try this experience in your Sicilian trip, to bring with you inimitable and fantastic tastes. Thanks guys we will come...

L'INSALATINA DELLE BUSTE NO!
