Dispensa Emilia Grandemilia — Restaurant in Modena

Travelling through Emilia-Romagna we used Google to find a restaurant to have some tagliatelle and ragu and came across the Dispensa Emilia in Modena. When we got here we were rather surprised to find it was in a big shopping mall, so not the sort of restaurant we had expected. However, we decided go for it. Yesterday was a bit disappointing especially after I had given 4 stars 2 years ago. Lambrusco spritz was OK the gnocchi fritto were much smaller and tasted like raw dough. I'm glad we weren't hungry and only ordered the smallest size. Although I had other favorite wonderful guest, it couldn't change the doughy taste.

Ho appena finito di mangiare tortellini in crema di Parmigiano e Tiramisù (ovviamente prima gli uni poi l'altro... 😅). Tortellini molto buoni. Impasto buono e ripieno buono. Un po' scotti ma da una catena che si propone anche un po' come fast food non si può pretendere la perfezione. Ad ogni modo, ripeto, buoni. La ragazza alla cassa mi aveva chiesto se volessi anche il Parmigiano grattugiato ma ho rifiutato pensando che già la "crema" sarebbe stata saporita di suo. In realtà, per quello che è il mio gusto, un'aggiunta di Parmigiano non avrebbe guastato. PS: È innegabile che i tortellini NON sono confezionati ma caserecci. Stessa cosa per il Tiramisù che viene servito in un bicchiere di vetro. Delicato e buono. Infine il servizio. Ragazzi sorridenti e gentili tutti con la "divisa" della catena che prevede grembiule e berretto e che ricordano un po' le botteghe di una volta.
