Ornato Ristorante — Restaurant in Modica

I had the most amazing experience at this restaurant! The seafood pasta was the best I have ever had, perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients, and the wine selection was top-notch, complementing the meal beautifully.

What made the evening even more special was the outstanding hospitality. On the night we visited, there was a big football match, and all the taxis were occupied. To our surprise, the owner of the restaurant himself offered to drive us back. His generosity and big heart truly made our night unforgettable.

Absolutely one of the best meals we had while in Southeast Italy. The chef is very creative and had inventive ways in serving the seafood. It also happened to be a night when it was slow with guests and we ended up getting extra courses as a result. I would eat here each month if I lived in this part of Sicily. The host also happened to be our server; she was warm, and wonderful in explaining everything. Together they make a great team for this restaurant. Listen, I'll freely admit that today's visit at Ornato was my first time having a multi course tasting menu in any kind of restaurant. Food, service and drinks were absolutely divine.

We went for the five course tasting menu and got some very helpful suggestions on wine selection from our wonderful waitress.

All courses were exceptional and quite filling! For us the food, service and lovely restaurant really made for the perfect evening. Thank you guys very much for making our visit to Modica special....
