We were here the week of June 11, 2022 and this restaurant was recommended to us by one of the vineyards we visited… it’s AMAZING! First, the staff is so friendly and appreciative of you and treats you exceptionally well. 2nd, this is an old family restaurant meaning the family is running the kitchen, and although it’s a restaurant you’re in their home so you get Italian food and hospitality at full throttle (they are busy so be patient and relax and go with the flow); 3rd amazing food.. really. I ordered the rabbit and my wife the chingialle(sp) and the rabbit. Rabbit took a while so I got worried My order wasn’t put in, but No it was made fresh from scratch so it had to be done right and took sometime (it was excellent); 4th we ordered a bottle and the gentlemen (son of the family) recommended a tasting of wines instead because it was a better deal for us, and we ended up doing the tasting he left us some bottle to top off our favorite. Then just when we thought it was over, at the end they treated us to grappa and another type of drink (I think it was cognac). The price point is unbeatable. I hope to be back ASAP. Get there as soon as it opens to make sure you get in and get a seat. And for terrace , you most definitely need reservations because it’s...

We arrived on a Monday for lunch at 12.30 without a booking. The restaurant was empty. We ordered the crostini misto which was delicious. They also poured us a special olive oil to taste. We ordered a glass of red wine each but received 3 glasses of different reds each for tasting, even though we didn’t ask for it. It was so nice of them and we really enjoyed our experience dining there.
The pasta perfectly bouncy in texture, it was so good! we especially liked the pinci with garlic and tomato sauce. It’s quite strong in taste even though it doesn’t look it. The pappardelle with wild boar sauce was also tasty.
We finished with 2 icecream truffles and an espresso. We thought the gelato was truffle flavoured, but they are not. The white one was vanilla with some coffee icecream inside and the other was like a baci chocolate flavour. They were both still delicious. All...
Read moreThis was a standout dining experience ... from ordering only wild boar and a side of courgette with a glass of Brunello, I left with my belly and heart full ♥️
After being turned away by 4 restaurants with several empty tables ('for how many people?', 'just one', 'sorry we're fully booked'... yet you asked how many??)... Il Moro gave me a big smile and warm welcome, setting the tone for the most amazing and genuine hospitality.
Complimentary olive oil tasting, also free wine tasting (it kept coming!) and a delicious dessert tart thrown in, with Van sinto and grappa... all with super friendly service, almost like a private home.
The views were amazing and while the decor is fairly simple, you would not want to be anywhere else... I cannot rate this highly enough, thank you so much for making my stay in...
