Awful! What a waste of time and money! We had seen the very good reviews here in Google and thought we would have a nice Chinese meal here. How wrong we were! We were the first customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night. The spring roll came quite quickly but had to wait at least 10 minutes before the hot sour soup (which it was neither) arrived. Another table, who seemed to be regulars, arrived and had all of their food before ours. Second course rice arrived and we waited 10 minutes before we took it to the bar, because it was getting cold and we hadn't had our prawns. When it eventually came out it was tasteless! We read negative review about the restaurant and bad neighborhood. We stayed in Grand Hotel Plaza at main square. Anyway we decided to try. It was 7min by walk. The restaurant was clean inside with fresh ironed table cloths. The menu was in English with about 50 choices. The shrimps soup was excellent and main dishes very teasted We have been on Wednesday at 18.30 as first and only customer during our dinner. 3-4 people drop in to pick up ordered meals. Ristorante storico di Montecatini, cucina cinese con aggiunta di piatti Thai.

Ormai io e la mia famiglia siamo clienti da anni, mia mamma da quando hanni aperto circa 40 anni fa.

Io sono vegetariana e intollerante al lattosio e ho sempre trovato una vasta scelta di piatti da ordinare.

Il menù è comunque molto vasto, hanno piatti sia a base di verdure che di carne e pesce.

Tra i primi troviamo il riso e la pasta (sia di soia che di riso che di grano).

Come secondi: pesce, crostacei, maiale, anatra e manzo.

I secondi sono sempre accompagnati da verdure, ma sul menù sono previsti anche i contorni (tra cui il tofu - che consiglio alla piastra - funghi cinesi e il Bamboo)

La proprietaria è gentilissima, sempre disponibile e molto competente.

All'arrivo porta sempre una tazzina a persona con un loro liquore come aperitivo.

Il servizio è sempre abbastanza rapido, naturalmente nel weekend, quando il locale è pieno, l'attesa è più lunga (non esagerata), ma ne vale sempre la pena.

Sono una cliente abituale e non ho mai mangiato male, nemmeno una volta.

Consiglio di provare il tè al gelsomino per accompagnare i piatti, molto delicato e profumato.

Il locale ha l'aspetto un po' vintage, che a me non dispiace, in più tutti i decori sono originali, in vero legno. I quadri e le caratteristiche lampade sono bellissimi/e.
