Ricciarelli — Restaurant in Montecatini Terme

We needed to try some Italian pizza and Ricciarelli has got great reviews on Tripadvisor so we decided to give them a try, and we were not dissapointed. The pizza was good, a little burnt at the edges but with lots of flavour and great texture.

When we were in the middle of eating we noticed that they only accepted cash. Something I think any good waiter should let the customer know before ordering so I had to run to the closest ATM to get us some cash. When I was paying for the meal I noticed that we were charged for a couple of beers we had not ordered. A shame, maybe an update in how they keep track of orders...

We eaten here many times. Their food is great and quality for the price you pay. Such great value and being on the main square, you can watch the world walk by . While you enjoy their Mayo and tuna pizza. Yes, you heard me. I tried this odd dish, and I can't get enough of it. You really should sit in or at least grab a takeaway selection at their main counter. Quiet happily eat here every day. Sadly, we had to come home. But we will be back. You can sit inside and outside. And you sit right at Piazza del Popolo, which is very pretty, especially at night. The stuff is very attentive and the food came very quickly. They offer a pretty big variety at a reasonable price. The food was good, but nothing too special I’d say. The pizza dough was rather thin and crunchy and nothing like a neapolitan pizza.
