Had a horrible experience eating at this resturant. We are two young girls and had a horrible experience with the man who worked here. He very obviously starred at my chest and smiled at me and then starred at my chest again every time he came to our table to take our orders and bring over our food which made me extremely uncomfortable. I wanted to leave immediately because he made me feel so uncomfortable but we had just ordered and I didn’t want to have to pay for a meal I wasn’t going to eat. After we finished our meals he bought over a plate of tiramisu, stared at my chest again, smiled at me again, and said it was for me because I am so beautiful. I felt extremely uncomfortable but me and my friend shared the desert before leaving because honestly the pasta wasn’t nice and we wanted something to get the taste out of our mouths. When we stood up to leave the man asked us to stay and to drink some wine. We declined and asked to pay. He wouldn’t let us pay and kept asking us questions about where we were from and my name and we just waited for him to let us pay. After we paid he told us we had to return. This dinner honestly has ruined my day and I felt extremely uncomfortable and violated the entire time I was in the venue. I would not recommend this place to any females if you want to eat a meal without...
Read moreAs pointed out by other reviewers, this is a fast food pasta restaurant. You order at the counter and, in a few minutes, your number is called, at which point you pick up your pasta at the counter. The pasta is served in disposable paper containers, and disposable plastic flatware is provided. I personally don't find the fast food pasta concept to be offensive, as I've had good fast food pasta before. Also, it's convenient if you're in a hurry. As far as portion sizes here, I think they're fine but may deceptively appear small inside of the deep paper bowels. My issue with Pastarita has to do with the taste of the food. We didn't get adventurous with our orders and instead stuck to what we thought were conservative, safe bets. Yet, neither of us liked our food. I had a few forkfuls and left the rest. My dining companion grudgingly ate all of his due to strong hunger. On the plus side, there was no cover charge to sit. Also, there are vegetarian options. But, since neither I nor my companion enjoyed our food, I can't give this restaurant more than two stars. I think, however, if Pastarita ups their game with the quality of their sauces, they'll be a worthy choice for a quick meal during a brief...
Read moreThis is, hands down, the best pasta restaurant in my entire visit to Italy, including Rome, Florence, and Cinque Terre.
Sea bass ravioli here is one of my top 3 dish in Italy. (It's very spicy though even though the menu doesn't indicate it, so be careful).
The gnocci (with pesto) is perfect blend of firm/softness with a little chewyness. Best gnocci I have had.
It is also the only restaurant that didn't charge cover, and it is cheapest by far.
I cannot recommend this place more highly. In a sea of mediocre tourist-trap restaurants with undeservingly high google reviews, this place is truly...
