Mbriana Pizza & Food — Restaurant in Monza

Let's start with the positive - definitely one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Lots of ingredients, woodfired, ample, and overall excellent. The lady who served us put up with our poor Italian and spoke English to us. The food and the service were excellent - absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Fabulous!

We booked and dined at 7.30pm on a Thursday evening.

The atmosphere - the place was full of families and kids. You couldn't hear yourself think and the yelling, squealing, shouting from the kids was unbearable. The parents had less than zero control! I don't know if this is an Italian thing, but if it had been my kids, they would have received a good clip behind the ears! Seriously, this ruined my night. I left the restaurant after a fantastic meal in a sh!tty mood, and longing to get outside the place for some quiet. Even the Monza traffic was cathartic by comparison. The kids were making a racket, and the parents just sat there sipping their wine and let them go for it - oblivious to the noise and annoyance it was causing to the other diners.

Buona pizzeria in stile napoletano. Piccolo ma carino. Forno a vista che da sicurezza di pulizia. Siamo arrivati con prenotazione ed il tavolo era già pronto. Purtroppo abbiamo aspettato oltre 20 minuti per fare l'ordine poiché le ragazze erano molto impegnate con le pizze d'asporto. Le ragazze sono molto gentili e premuroso quando vengono al tavolo. Purtroppo quando vengono perché sono sempre impegnate con le pizze d'asporto. Forse è stato un caso visto che siamo andati di sabato. Preso l'ordine delle pizze ci viene chiesto cosa vogliamo da bene. Siamo rimasti sorpresi nel sentirci dire che il sabato sera avevano già finito la birra alla spina bionda e che era disponibile solo quella rossa. Vada per la rossa. Le pizze sono state da 6 stelle con impasto contemporaneo a lenta lievitazione e movimentata nel forno con pala forata. Buonissime. Purtroppo dopo abbiamo avuto la cattiva idea di prendere il cuoppo fritto. Delusione totale. Poco sapore e delle verdure vi erano solo delle strisce di melanzane troppo cotte o forse rifritte della precedente frittura. Ad ogni modo immangiabile. Peccato. Ci hanno rovinato il buon gusto della pizza. Locale carino ma da insonorizzare con dei pannelli a tetto. Vi era della munica con volume troppo alto che non ci faceva parlare e la gente per potersi sentire alzava la voce e quindi un gran baccano fra tutti gli ospiti. Secondo me dovrebbero insonorizzate il tetto con dei pannelli come fanno molte pizzerie e spegnere la musica o metterla molto più bassa e distribuita nel locale. Una sola cassa fa stonare quelli vicini. Parcheggio parecchio difficoltoso ma girando un pò ed arrivando in anticipo si trova. Conto onesto. Ho mangiato ottime pizze come questa ma pagata molto di più...

A newer place located a bit outside of the core center of Monza, and therefore not many tourists about - which makes this more of a 'get to know the locals' experience. The staff were so nice and accomodating, and the pizza was incredible. I had the special named after the restaurant itself, the Mbriana, which features anchovies as a topping....
