Upon entering, we were not given any direction on where to sit, so we sat in a location that fit our small group. We were only given 2 menus for the 5 of us, and it took 20 minutes between our arrival and actually getting the menus. After another 25 minutes, we finally had to call someone over to take our order. Then, after ordering we had to wait another 20 min before they brought the first plate of three for one person out. Then, another 30 min later, we had to get up and ask for the progress on our meals. They brought out 2 more plates, but still hadn’t brought the second and third of one person, and didn’t even have one of our meals prepared. They finally brought out the meal for the last person who had been waiting, after another 10 min. Then, after waiting for the last dish, we tell them we would like to pay and leave, and they told us to wait. Very poor service, and they were very clearly irritated with us when we asked about our food or were trying to order. Overall, we were there for 2 hours, give or take a few minutes. Very poor service, low quality food, uncomfortable setting. Would not...

Checked this place out based on a couple of reviews and our first choice was just too busy. There was not a soul and the location seemed a little sterile but that is not necessarily an indicator. We gave it a shot, the place filled a bit with local people, a good sign, then the pizza came. And it was delicious. But the bill came padded, so there go any stars I may have assigned. One mistake could be an error. But the coke was charged twice and one of the pizzas was charged twice. I asked nicely to have them both removed from the bill. Then the bill came back with only the additional coke removed. I had to ask to have the extra pizza removed, which they did without apology, not a word. We made no fuss at all, just paid the bill and left. They watched us leave, no thank you's, goodbyes, niente. I am in Naples often and unfortunately encounter this kind of thing with some frequency. On the other hand, it is safe to say there are choices when it comes to pizza in this city. Mine will be different the next time. I came for lunch, not...

The location is great, but the service was lacking. About three parties who arrived after us were served before we were. I ordered a three dish deal from the menu, and it took an unreasonably long time for the food to be ready (more than 40 minutes). Keep in mind other people were being served quite quickly even though they ordered similar items. I asked about why it was taking so long and the waiter yelled at me. I asked to just pay and leave and was told, very rudely, to sit down. When my plate was finally brought out, the waiter was dismissive and visibly irritated with me.

In addition, there were a few children who were running around and screaming very loudly. We understand that this is a family-friendly restaurant, but they were being disruptive to us and the staff didn’t ask the parents to help control their children.

We understand that it was a busy night, but I feel like the accumulation of mistreatments on their part was...

Yes the Renainssance hotel also referred to the old town (Da Carmine, DaMichele) as having the best Napolitan pizza. But since we checked into the hotel quite late, we just looked for some place much closer. Solopizza is only a block away so that became our go-to place. The fact that a big group of locals were eating there certainly helped put us at ease as well. We ordered a Magherita Con Bufala, and a mushroom pizza. Both were outstanding. I especially loved the water buffalo cheese with its extra sweetness taste. Coupled with some draft Morettis and we had ourselves a great dinner. The pizzas were 7-9 EU each. Great deal as well. Credit cards are taken. Go there and you won't regret it.

I’ve eaten a LOT of pizza in my life, and a fair amount during my visit to Naples. This has been my favorite by a mile (er... kilometer 😅). It’s church location is cool, the waiter (seemed in charge) was prompt and had personality that was quick, vibrant, and authentic for the short moments I interacted with him. This beats all of the “must eat!” pizzas travel blogs told me to eat first. Not too “wet” but not dry at all. Had good flexible crunch and the cheese was good and melty. Lights were surprisingly bright inside (could do with a bit more “mood” in the place to match its cool locale). This is now on my own must-eat list for sure.

The best pizza in Napoli, a true pizza place like no other. The locals prefer it, as you will see no tourists, there is ample seating, the service is super fast, and the quality of the pizza is amazing. The size of the pizza is quite intimidating as its larger than the plate, but it is light and tasty, that you eat it all. The ingredients, the way of cooking it, the presentation, the bread thickness and freshness are all amazing. The menu could have some more variety, however this is a local traditional restaurant, there are no experiments to be made here. The pizza is the absolutely best, in all the places in Italy, I have been.
