I stumbled upon this delightful pizzeria during an afternoon stroll through the narrow, lively streets of Naples, and it quickly became one of my favorite hidden gems. Tucked away in a practical yet charming corner of the city, the restaurant feels like a warm embrace from an old friend.
The moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by the irresistible aroma of wood-fired pizza and fresh basil. The owners greeted me like a long-lost relative, sharing heartwarming stories about how their family recipes have been lovingly passed down through generations.
The true star of the meal was, of course, the pizza. With a perfectly thin, slightly charred crust that offered just the right balance of crunch and chew, every bite burst with the vibrant flavours of sun-ripened tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a hint of aromatic basil. I even ventured to try one of their signature dishes—a local specialty that captured the soul of traditional Neapolitan cuisine with every mouthful.
For anyone exploring the heart of Naples, this pizzeria isn’t just a place to eat; it’s an authentic taste of the city’s culinary heritage and a welcoming pause in your urban adventure. I will certainly return the next time I'm in Naples, and I highly recommend you visit this gem for a truly unforgettable...
Read moreFirst of all a nice waiter invited us to the restaurant and after we sat down they paid almost zero attention to us. We ordered a bottle of wine and after 10 mins of waiting we asked for it and the waiter just laughed and waved that he forgot about it. Then we ordered our food (a starter, a pizza, a pasta and a gnocchi). We explained to the waiter that we want to share the starter so please bring 3 plates. Then the pasta arrived first and then the pizza (the waiter exactly knew that it was a mistake and he was just laughing about it), then finally the starter arrived. The mozzarella in the starter was clearly not fresh, it was warm and sour, tasted weird. Then the gnocchi arrived at the time when 2 out of 3 of us finished the main dish. The pasta and gnocchi was fine, the pizza was way too salty and burnt on the bottom and the salami also tasted weird in it. The minute we finished eating all of us were feeling sick and literally had to run back to our apartment because of stomach issues. I wouldn't recommend this place, horrible service & food (and a horrible night...
Read moreThey were really kind until we sat down. After our waiter forgot to bring our wine and when we mentioned it he was just laughing. In the starter the mozzarella wasn't fresh and it was sour. They brought the food in a wrong order in spite of that we told them 3 times that we want to eat a starter first together, so I got my gnocchi after my friends have already eaten their food. My friend's pizza was burnt and too salty. The gnocchi and the pasta was good but after the dinner we got really sick and our evening was ruined totally because we were suffering at home. This restaurant is a typical tourist place. They just care about the quantity not the quality and the service is awful. The table clothes was dirty. The only positive thing was that the waiter offered us a limoncello as a compensation but unfortunately it didn't compensate our awful dinner. If you don't want an awful evening and a big disappointment don't go there! I have never wrote a bad comment about a restaurant but this experience was the...
