Gran Caffè Valentino — Restaurant in Naples

I left a review at nearby Caffè al volo where I had a bad experience while looking for breakfast.

Thank you Gran Caffè Valentino for saving my day with great attitude, service and quality of food.

We were enthuastically served by the staff and even after our latte came without ice they smilingly handled it. We actually only ordered 1 drink but we were happy to take 2 after the hospitality shown.

As I'm not a coffee person, I initially didn't want a drink but glad for their happy mistake as the iced coffee was actually great! We asked for 2 pastries which were also pleasant and ended up ordering 1 more to go.

For my wife and I, this was our first visit to Naples and Valentinos was a lucky find near our apartment, 10 minutes walk from Napoli Centrale Station.

Valentinos is beautifully appointed, serving excellent coffee and a wide choice of delicious pastries and savoury items in a friendly and relaxing environment.

Service was good and the place is nice. But the price we paid at the end were not the ones displayed on the wall... 5€ for a coke is kind of expensive for Napoli. Edit after owner answer: we didn't understand that the prices on the wall were not the same if you were served.
